Wonderful performance! But why shy away from some of the altissimo passages? Certainly a player of your caliber can play the piece as originally intended. Bravo, brilliant playing from you and the orchestra. Edit**- I just heard your recording of the Larsson and of course you can do it, so why not for the Ibert?

I rather like it in this key, the original key Villalobos initially wrote it in. It sounds a bit brighter and more lively. Great arrangement and performance. Thank you for sharing!

Too fast, perhaps the Amazon rainforest the song of the birds that live there is not in line with the speed presented here, the passion has not found a place in the rapid arpeggios that do not deliver the real feeling of the relationship of the native Brazilian man with the nature of his country.

Superlative. Pity about the empty chairs. In my own musical career, I've noticed: the better you are , the more potential for empty seats. Kindergarten : standing only, the better you play , the sparser the house. When in conservatory I made it to 10 . In my "professional" career I got to 2. I am retired now and have taken up sax, new to me. I want your timbre. Good luck.
