Why did your views dropped drastically what's happening to TH-cam
if printed at officeworks, what paper gsm did they use? did you just go with what was automatically used? I gave them a call but they said A2 would require a thicker paper because of the amount of ink. thank you!
It was a long time ago when I printed them I don’t remember but it was definitely thicker
A2 size what is this in American?
I have no clue sorry
Hi Jenni, I just joined my university's theatre organization and I've been assigned as the props manager and props builder for the next productions I have lined up for next year! As someone new to the props game, I have been falling in love and your videos have been such a gift <3 Currently binging your playlists right now, keep doing what you do.
Aww thanks! I will be putting out more content in the new year! DM me if you ever have any questions!

Hello, I need the glue how I have it I'm from Sierra Leone
Not sure you used enough hardener. Or the product has improved since last year. Im currently making coaster and am super happy!
Yeah I have used it since and it’s a lot better
Very helpful👏🏽👏🏽
Great idea for the icing!
Thank you!
I need to make aperol spritz for my daughter's bridal shower as a prop. How do you get the color for that?
I would probably use a red resin mix in you can buy proper powders made for resin. Failing that maybe something like paprika or saffron to get the red colour
Great video! Can I ask how long you let the mod podge cure?
Depends on the weather but - about 1-2hrs
What would you suggest to use to make fake melted mozzarella for a large fake pepperoni pizza prop?
Hi there I did a fake pizza video, that might help but if you are wanting large round pieces of mozzarella probably clay with a mod podge top - watch that video and you’ll see what I mean 🙂
Can we see how you printed this?
I just went to a professional printers
That came out really well! I’ve never used a resin before, thinking maybe I’ll attempt it on next of my wand projects and ideally I wanna use a cheaper option first! Thanks for the videos!!
You’re welcome!
I’m lucky I’ve never had to repair any of the bits I’ve made…..so far You did a great job, especially with the makeshift bundle of stuff to balance bits together, that’s a bit of me 😂 I’m pretty new to the world of prop making (few videos on my channel) but it’s been great to learn from skilled people like yourself! Quick question about the glue gun , you mentioned you used the industrial strength glue, but what exactly (materials) is that best for sticking together? I use mostly natural fibres/ materials and looking for the best ‘one glue fits all’ solution!
Hmmm sadly there isn’t really a great glue that does it all I usually carry between 6-12 different types of glue because they all do different things. Hot glue is great on things that aren’t heat sensitive but it’s better when it’s a glue gun that takes thicker sticks of glue.
I think I did a video on glue types a while back as well
@@ThatPropsGirl Ahh ok, i'll go give that a wathc, thanks for replying!
This is so easy! I just posted a video on my channel on how I made my wedding cake with fondant. Wish I had seen your video first, haha. 😅
I will have to go check it out
Super helpful - thanks Jenni!
You’re welcome
thirteenth like XDD !!!
Would it be possible to pipe on designs with the same wall filler to create the swirls of frosting and whipped cream with a piping bag?
Absolutely!
@@ThatPropsGirl I’m trying to make the wedding cake from the attic in the Haunted Mansion! We’ll see how it goes.
Where did you send it to print?
I live in Australia and got it printed at office works which is a big stationary store
No...do not like peppermint...but the candies are pretty! ❤
This was so helpful! I am about to lead a total reorganization of my theatre’s prop room and this gave so many great tips and ideas!
Awww glad I could help
As someone who has done research on Katherine Howard and her costume inspiration in most media she's portrayed in, her skirt in SIX is meant to not only represent her short life (she died anywhere for 19 to 21 years of age) with it's length and the fact it's "not completed" but also how the men in her life saw her and how history has seen her for years, we only hear of her cause she was the "promiscuous" wife, forgetting the fact that she met Henry as a teenage while he was in his 40's, her outfit is meant to represent her age by mirroring what teenagers of today wear, short skirts and crop-top while also having the long sleeves cause she was seen as a "mature adult" back in the 1500's, of course we as a society know better now that a 15 year isn't an adult but back then that's what she was considered Sorry for the tirade it just kind of erks me when her story is so crudely put into the box of "she was only a flirt and that's why her outfit is short" and I know you agree with that, especially when there was so much detail and thought put behind every outfit
Thanks for the information
ahhh! love you, this is perfect 🤗 exactly what i was looking for! thanksss

How did you get a job in theatre like that? Your doing something i'd love to do! But even in film and TV.
I just started working on amateur shows and then eventually moved into professional shows in my home town and then was asked to join this show.
@@ThatPropsGirl so no qualications? Just volunteers at shows and how did you get to being paid for it?
@@antoniasattler6726 I have a certificate in live performance and event management and I have a diploma of dance and acting but I don’t think they really count for much it’s mostly experience and having the necessary skills and only time and practice can bring those
