@@DaniSoloRaids i tried it with two intimidators and got demolished pretty easily: look at it this way, an extra intimidator is 50% more intimidators. So this smeargle I was close to not making at all Im glad you asked. I was actually trying to roll with an arcanine, drifblim, and weavile team and it so happened that I got a 3 intimidator team so I was like “Smeargle is on” lol-I was searching for my initial for over 5 hours I think when I happened to get this one. But what you can do is do a cotton guard body press set. Dragonite will use dragon scale ocassionally debuffing its own defenses if you havent caught on yet. Theres a safer smeargle build I can get for you if you want from my friend who doesnt like “moody” ability. Also dont worry about people man. There are a lot of haters out there. For people like us who simply enjoy the game and make cool build, people wanna put us down cuz they are too lazy and they wanna feel special. Keep up the grind man and God Bless!! 🙏

@@EaglesMeth7 damn, 5 hours, that takes some patience. but im sure you were making progress with other builds in the meantime. i'm aware of the scale shot debuff but i've found dragonite almost never uses scale shot prior to late game random move selection. i think the AI doesn't understand multi-strike moves very well and sees that the base power is technically 25 and essentially requires immunity to both extreme speed and earthquake for it to think scale shot is its strongest move. but i also get that raid AI sometimes just behaves unpredictably. i think it's cool that you're showcasing what can be achieved with ideal NPC teams. a lot of my viewers don't want to have to roll a good team so I try to focus on builds that require little to no NPC assistance. it's nice that we have different niches, so our content doesn't overlap and we aren't competing for views.

@@DaniSoloRaidsi just got a “basic” easy solo strat stolen from me 17k views vs my 2.7k views; no credit to the original creator: me. Its these type of people I want to avoid being like. As for my YT raid approach…One, Im a shiny hunter so my patience has been mastered and ready for this type of niche. Two, I wanna build people up not knock them down. When everyone prospers, everyone is happy, love multiplies, life is good. Thats what my Lord and Savior teaches. If people genuinely love Pokemon as much as I do and are able to make original content through integrity, righteousness, and honesty, I will root for them!

I always give credit at the top of my descriptions when it's due. having original content motivates me more than getting views does, so I want to make it clear which content is original, and of course help out whoever gave me the idea. I'm a shiny hunter as well. I completed the shiny dex in SV and the shiny living dex in PLA. but i don't have excellent patience, I'm always looking for ways to maximize the probability of getting shinies more quickly. I appreciate and agree with your outlook re: integrity, and wish you the best.

Use pp ups to max stored power should have 16 pp; make sure to utilize atk cheers as well and that your mon is properly ev trained; hypertrained; and lvl 100 as written in the description of this video

Thanks yeah I noticed watching your video a second time that your moves had been PP'd. Didn't hyper train (never knew this was even a thing) but managed to get it done 😀.

@@saber_6683 its a pain. Almost like shiny hunting sometimes. Sometimes it takes over 5 hours. Good news is when I do get my ideal permanent team, I can keep using it for other strats! Except when my game freezes and I have to soft reset the game 😭

@@RenaBlossomingKitsune a couple of things to point out for you: One, hurricane is used only once at the beginning of the raid so 1/4 chance. Two, I used iron defense 2x def I have 252 evs on DEF and naturally high HP. Three, grassy terrain from arboliva reduces ground moves by 50%. Four, will-o-wisp cuts dragonites ATK in half, so at 4x atk +6, itll be 2x atk instead. The rng from dragonite likes to go for one shots so if you do get this team with a bulky mon like IH it will spam dragon dance a lot I noticed. Trust me Ive done this raid lots of times. Even with a smeargle, which Dragonite was obviously more aggressive with

You are correct to have your concerns btw. The reason this one had a higher success rate than a normal random just go in and do it raid is because of my PERMANENT NPCs. So if you dont mind reseting your game until you have my exact team, then it wont take you too long to win with this IH build

@@EaglesMeth7I never knew this. I solo most of my raids for fun. Do you have a suggested primary lineup? I use to hope for belibolt for paralyze and Gardevoir for healing.

@@bryanharris4197yo mang! It depends on the raid boss and your featured solo mon; my team will change up depending on who I feature! Typically when I hit with a physical attacker I need a leer support which only arcanine and weavile can provide; a burn support such as drifblim; and/or charm and feather dance support from sylveon and staraptor. Intimidate support is always nice if the ability works. For special attacking raid bosses I love Bellibolt, Gardevoir, and Arboliva typically. Arboliva is great for weakening ground moves with grass terrain-while boosting grass attacks 30%- and provides healing support. Bellibolts light screen is invaluable.

Lol! I LOVE Smeargle. I used him in every single 7 star solo strat I participated in. Despite its awful stats, its gimmicks and actually decent abilities saves frfr. So like annhilape, its a mon you can use to be almost every single 7 Star Raid. The only one I dont think it can beat is Mewtwo

@@pketr5 thats a wonderful option in group raids which I need to do more! The rng is particularly dependent on hurricane and thunder not targeting you. Luckily its quick and at the beginning of the raid so not too much sweat as you can dip the second that happens. To lower 50% odds-I round up-no. If you have a group raid with other peeps maybe a wind rider and a lightning rod bruh. You would essentially cut the rng to 25%

@@EaglesMeth7 as someone who doesn't have nintendo switch online, i would not like another raid as difficult as mewtwo to the point where it isn't doable solo.(ok you could solo it but the rng was insane)But i would like to see more diffiicult raids.

@@joemil thats a great question. I was also pondering this. I didnt have a shiny mimikyu ironically enough thats why I didnt attempt with him. I assume any hit will pop the balloon even with the ability disguise but its certainly worth a try especially since it has the potential to eliminate rng
