As a bassist myself with over 45 years of experience playing, recording and touring with different bands and in different genres I want to pass on some of my knowledge to the wider bass community. Like most experienced musicians you begin to notice familiar patterns in chord progressions which appear throughout music which everyone uses, it's not magic like some people I know think when listening to their favourite artist. All the practice tracks on this channel are based on standard chord progressions for bassists to get in touch with the imagination and emotions playing along too and/or practice improvising over. Each track uses real musicians and have been mixed and mastered without bass. All the tracks are arranged into a basic song format to make them interesting and fun, (Not Just Loops) and are non-metronomic for a more natural push and poll feel. Glad you're enjoying them, and as always the most important thing is Have Fun! because a audience will always picks up on that. We are not robots 👍

@@ulysse.r Most of the music is myself except for some vocals and percussion on some of the tracks. They come from one of the DAW’s I use. This channel is just a bass backing track channel for practicing to and not songs for a sale. I don’t need or want a credit and the vocal samples are free to use and are not credited. I’ve looked at other bass backing track channels and none have mentioned or credited other musicians. Hope you’ve asked them, I’d like to know what answer they gave you. I feel as if your giving me the third degree, lol 😆 People have called these tracks AI but that’s bull shit. AI is destroying music, I’m just trying to give something back to younger bassist who just want to learn something, improve their skills and have fun, and what’s wrong with that 👍

Thanks for your comment and feedback, much appreciated. Most play along backing practice tracks on this channel are based around 4 chords or so which repeat themselves throughout the track. All four chords are are shown in the description so you have an idea of how they flow together. I find once you know the sequence you don’t have to read the chords, which are only a guid anyway for beginners. Hope your having fun playing along 👍

Sometimes the 2-5 chord progression is resolved to the one chord giving us the very popular chord progression 2-5-1. Keeping the chords simple leaves lots of room to add colours such as the 7th, 9th, 11th, 13th and so on in you'er interpretation of the music rather than being restricted to preordained colours. Regarded to your question there are some tracks here which are more suited to beginners because they only use two chords and are a lot of fun to play over.
