awesome, what kind of spectrograms are you using on top?
What is the Lofi Sample Pack you are using ? FF_LFH ... One shots. Im guessing LFH is Lofi house?
Thanks for using a lot of free plugins, now I can see how it all works
Dope track
1:10 im trying to follow this video but i cant replicate the ARP you do here. I have literally EVERYTHING matched 1 to 1 that you show and it just doesnt sound like the sound you produce. So, this either for some reason cant be replicated in fl studio or you left something out. It's not doing that bounce effect and the higher notes don't sound like yours, mine are more lower in volume and kind of like the key a tiny bit. I've had an incredibly hard time trying to learn how to produce lofi and ambient because almost all of the videos always leave things out or hide presets to keep them secret. Honestly im probably just gonna give up on this. I've sunk like a week into trying to learn and I feel like ive just wasted my time because I cant find a video that really hits the nail for me. theirs always things locked behind expensive preset packs and the like. Maybe im just being dumb and ive missed something but i dunno. This has easily been one of the hardest things i have ever had to do.
superb tutorial bro!
This was extremely tasteful to watch.
i swear you never miss bro
appreciate you brother ❤️
Sooo good bro 🔥
so fkin underrated
What DAW do you use?
as a fl user, bitwig has the most beautiful interface. and it's not even close
honestly disagree with you haha! bitwig's UI is one of the only things i dislike about it. with the new update it's been really great to customize it (unofficially but still). i feel like ableton is still far ahead when it comes to the ui.
Bitwig is not Ableton. It has concepts from Ableton, but it focuses on its own thing. It is a modern DAW for electronic music of today. A lot of programs today are great, but really lack the tools we need. From what i know, Ableton has been slow asf with keeping up with the now. I have heard a lot of people have had creative blocks using A lot of other programs. Crashing is another massive pain in the ass. Every program needs sandboxing. Holy shit. Bitwig is 10 years old and has exploded on the scene. I remember when xilent started using it back in 2014 and i was super skeptical. Over the years i saw a massive change. Ableton has also been criticized about how they dont really listen to thrir users and have been throwing out stuff nobody asked for. However, both programs have their issues. Bitwig is a tool for a certain user. Bitwig is very modular and sound design based. Because a lot of people are doing stuff for games, movies, commercials, etc. i guess itakes it easier. Ableton is more focused on live performance and live experimentation. Both can do the job. One can do it better.
fire
Still coming back to this 7 months later. Bro cooked unbelievably hard on this one
No mic, but somehow your keyboard clicks are louder than the track lmaoooo regardless, dope video!! Sounds great!
🤣
Can't find the breakbeat video anywhere??
On that second drum loop how do you make that groove?
Metal musician here looking to explore other creativities and found this. Simply perfect. Thank you.
well done bro
would love to see you make a track inspired by wes mills!
Nice!
time stretch/warp is a SHIT
Simply curious, why using frequency shifter from kiloheartz rather than pitch up and down in ur sampler? thanks.
it's a better way to change the tone of drum sounds imo. pitch shifting down will pitch all frequencies down with a ratio, to make it keep its same harmonic content and tone, just in a lower pitch. this means i keep the same tone, and if i want something different i have to pitch it up or down a lot for it to be a noticable difference. at that point you mess so much with the sound it sounds low quality. frequency shifting changes the frequency of each frequency with the same Hz, meaning the harmonics are all offset so they end up having a different timbre and tonality. and if you only do a few 100 Hz, then the quality remains while you change the entire tonality. just pull up a snare sound with a frequency spectrum, and you'll see that if you use a pitch shifter everything will move with the same harmonic ratio and if you use a frequency shifter everything will move with the same Hz. a frequency spectrum isn't linear, so the sub frequencies are only 100hz long while the highs are like 10khz long in the same visual space (incase you didn't know), so it looks like the pitch shifter moves everything up and down with the same Hz but it's not.
Release this bro

Nice one mate❤
Would love to see a run through of all your paid VST’s and how you rate them!
yes, planning on doing a video like that, and making a track in the process ;)
What a tune!
nice bitwig theme
How do you change the theme?

This is the most positive comment section so far :) thanks everyone and thanks buddy for posting this video. Good song!
❤🙌
This was really neat to watch! I am kind of ashamed to say I have always loved electronic music but I didn't know how making it worked, lol. I loved the song, too, was dancing the whole time 🙂
Just watching you produce helps so much more than most tutorials
NICE! Good Work mate! You have so much talent....
Beautiful work!
Bitwig. Hell yeah.
Who else is recognising deadmouse vibes? Good job!
great video as always 💯
What about mixing ? Do you add some effects after at the mixing stage, or you leave it as it is ? ( its nice as it is , but if you add more effects after please let us know )
Do you mean if I already added any at the end or if i would add any if I were to finish it?
I mean, If you would add any more plugins if you were to finish it
@@panagope the mixing stage for me is always just subtle clean ups. bringing things forward in the mix, which i'd do for the drums very subtly in this case with some saturation maybe. i'd also mess with the stereo a bit more, i'd probably put the atmosphere to the sides. and then adjust eq's more to shape sounds to fit the mix :)
How is it with scoring to video? Also can it automatically tempo-map a stereo mastered song?
