Play in solphim. Play Negeb the eternal with virtue on field. Cast burn spell (solphim doubles damage) Neheb generates that much mana. And virtue lets u exile. Then keep casting. Rinse and repeat

Love this card more and more especially i play big creature. Comes early and replaces, late game still repalces and i have to play more big spell. You still get card draw even it gets counter which is a plus. i get its not etb but having it able to repalces self and only cost two mana is just too good

It's interesting and a bit unique but this deck is going to fold to board wipes. The deck has very little card advantage, the commander needs time to ramp up in power, and the deck is running a bunch of low tier red weenies that don't do much without the commander in play. One or two board wipes are going to put this deck into top deck mode. Even just having two 3/3s is an obstacle for this commander.

Do Myriad Copies of The Master Multiplied count as dealing commander damage? IDK if copies of your Commander count

Thank you for breaking down how each card fits into the strategy. All too often magic TH-camrs just say a card is good and that you should run it but never go into detail. After watching just one video of yours I've changed my tier list to put you at the top. Excellent work! I look forward to seeing more of your content.

My second deck was Firkraag, which I later retooled into Baeloth. But I disassembled that deck because my pod insisted on treating goad like theft and dubbing me Archenemy any time I got Baeloth out or tried to summon any of my set pieces. Try to cast any of my goad pieces? Izzet player pulls three counterspells out of his ass. I manage to scrape together enough mana to get Baeloth out? He gets killed on sight until the commander tax is so high I can never cast him again. I got sick of basically being told I don't get to play because I ran a mechanic that took control of everyone else's creatures away from them.

Adding flying is nice, but tying the hexproof and indestructible to EtB is going to severely limit its usefulness.

Finally! But I was kind of hoping they would give commanders regular ninjutsu instead of commander ninjutsu. It's strange that its abilities still revolve around ninjutsu despite not having its own.

Honestly this just means your commander will be hated out.

I'm surprised you didn't mention Prying Blade, cheap equipment for one more Treasure Token. And the spell Revel in Riches, opponents monster dies = Treasure Token. If you know you can't close game this card lets you win if you have Ten or more Treasure at the beginning of your upkeep. Maybe I'm just a different Pirate. One focus on LOOK AT MY PRECIOUS SHINY!!!! That and this Planeswalker called Mu Yanling. Sure, she is a lot to be desired but will tap all creatures your opponents have and take another turn. I call that a pressure card. Look at her and not my real threat cards. Plus, her Sorcery cand that Searchers her and return two creatures to hand is good. Play Dire Fleet, Cast Rhythmic Water Vortex Return Dire Fleet, Play again. Funny stuff.

Tawnos the toymaker is another good beast tribal commander.

I just made a second Mono Green deck after barely a year of starting to play again, I might as well start buying a play set of these since I'm also planning on a Gargos Fight Club and a Gruul Beasts. 😅

I want to build a budget deck around this guy. I wonder what he will go for? Seems like he could be budget, but maybe not...

I recommend Grenzo, Havoc Raiser in this deck. Grenzo likes having evasive creatures which is tough in Mono-Red if you're not doing weenies matter.

Another fun interaction is that those creatures don't stop being cowards if Gornog leaves the field, so you just need to cast it again and they're back to not-blocking

I really agree with everything you said in this video, I dislike proxies a lot. I just feel like building a collection is one of the most satisfying things in the world and the journey is the best part about playing TCG's in my eyes. I get the argument why people proxy, and won't stop someone from doing it of course but i wish there wasn't a stigma with people who play will real collections, I often have players who proxy ridicule me for having a nice card that i pulled or spent money on and that always feels bad so that's lame. I will say one take on proxies though on the way out. A buddy of mine who does proxy expensive cards but when he plays a real expensive card i assume its a proxy and it seems like it devalues his collection because i didn't realize it was a real card he owned so i suppose if you proxy, make it look not like the original card. He was proud of it and i felt bad for not realizing it was real but sometimes its really hard to tell these days. I'm also not hating on anyone who proxies, just relieved i found someone out there who feels the same way as i more or less on the topic. If i were to get into cedh i would likely proxy but then again who knows

"it's unhealthy to have a card be answered only by boardwipes" apply to koma way less then to any hexproof and shroud cards. Yes, swords cost 5 now, but you might pay that, you have the ability, or if you have shusher or something like that you also can, with hexproof you need exactly shadowspear, watchtower, or lens. And let's be honest, usually you don't have those

I think a card you need in this is bello, bard of the brambles and Enigmatic incarnation. Bello just turns all your enchantments into beaters that you swing with reckless abandon. While enigmatic incarnation tutors through your deck for creatures when you have incredibly flexible enchantments that can change their cmc depending on the situation so you can get different creatures. This also goes great with your commander so you can close a door and open another to make it cheaper. It gives the cheap side of rooms 2x as much value. With brilliant restoration (if you have money get Replenish) you get all your enchantments/rooms back to unlock again

I don't think the 1 mana dorks will allow to cast Laura on turn 2.. unfortunately, we need 3 different pips of mana. BoP, and the elvish mana dorks would result in 2 green, 1 mana of another color

Mind slash and attrition are amazing in this deck as well. I also always try to run grave pact and/or dictate of erebos in decks where I am sacrificing a lot of creatures.

A question on the indestructible. Does that include in the grave? Like, adding the keyword during my turn?

This was the first commander I built my own deck around once I moved on from precons, and I just have such a blast with him. Pretty run of the mill +1/+1 deck but his spellcast protection enables me to really magnify an otherwise non-threatening boardstate into something very vicious, very quickly. I really enjoy Railway Brawler in that sense, if you've got a lot of mana to play with, plotting him in prep for a massive Jumanji-esque flood of creatures next turn is awesome. He plays well with my midgame Ojer Kaslem/Zopandrel setup and can really saturate the board with beefy creatures.
