Where's the double cardan? That's a regular drive shaft. A double cardan has 2 U-joints in the same knuckle with a ball between them on the same end of the shaft.

То есть чтобы рычаги или шестерни двигались за пределами определенной зоны, но две точки вращались (вне зоны) вокруг определенной оси на угол 60-180 градусов. Есть ли какие-то справочники схем на эту тему, алгоритмы построения, определенное название раздела в физике или какие-то подобные места где это можно найти?

hi, do you know of a way to convert one rotation to 2 linear movements (Sort of like a toaster but I am using a rotation to move one linear motion first followed by the second linear motion). Or is there a way to add another one of the liner movements in the above video to this current jack.

keep adding gears in a row until you get to the pedals, then you don't need a treadle. I had an idea to convert a chain drive motorbike to shaft drive by doing this.

How does the motor drive two shafts with one belt ?
If you look carefully there is a chain drive, just the drawing was simplified
@@mechanic_ideas "If you look carefully there is a chain drive" That's funny since if you look carefully all you see is a "belt" with sprockets puncturing it. yeah say "the drawing was simplified" but that doesn't explain it all. "the drawing was simplified because making chain links would take up a lot of computing/memory"
The answer is: Just like most things that use a belt. Like in your car. One belt drives the AC compressor, alternator, power steering, flux capacitor. But this overly simplified design has a huge flaw in it. The drive sprocket should NOT be in direct/inline with the driven sprockets. Unless you have a PERFECTLY matched and tensioned system the chain could bind, and that will impact performance. The drive sprocket should be either pushed up to clear the belt (chain). So that the belt makes contact on ONLY one side of the sprocket at a time or place outside of the loop. However we need to take this video as a conceptual design not as a finished product or even a prototype.
