      These are the 13" grates that I cut about 3/4 inch off the length. I suggest that you check out Grillgrates.com to see their other products. However I am able to flip the grates over and use back side as a perforated Griddle grate.

    Just ordered one , arriving tomorrow. Why did you buy the different grill grates? Easier clean?

    • @BlackManMeetsWorld
      @BlackManMeetsWorld ปีที่แล้ว

      These new grates are easier to clean, they sear meat very well. The infrared Grate this grill originally came with easily burned, and was chard after the very first use. Food stuck to it like crazy. These grates really give your good more flavor because anything that drips off of what youre grilling will evaporate back into your food, instead of falling into the drip pan.

  • @yoster77
    @yoster77 2 ปีที่แล้ว

    In your honest opinion, have you found that these actually cook (say larger pieces of chicken) well? I have these for a few grills, and grill marks are great, sure, but I find those marks "outrun" the speed at which the meat cooks. Not a problem for smaller pieces of meat but thicker pieces pose a bit of a challenge for me on these 1-burner grills (when using grillgrates)

    • @BlackManMeetsWorld
      @BlackManMeetsWorld 5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I think it depends on the food you are cooking. I like my food to be a bit overcooked. I think for larger pieces of meat, youll just have to lower the heat to cooker a bit slower, with plenty of rotations. It also helps to preheat your grill to about 400 degrees

      You don't have to do any cutting if you don't mind missing the gap panel area at the end because you can have them cut it (minus the .125") at checkout. If you want it like this, then you will only need to cut the gap panel width 1.87" off. Just order 3 panels and ready to use less hassle.
