He was a talented guy with a powerful addiction and the Fentanyl mixed with Cocaine killed him. Anyone that messes with drugs today is taking that same chance. He had more money than most of us, and could afford the drugs, so he took them and lost it all. Was it worth it? NO, it never is! I am a lucky one, and he isn’t! R.I.P. JTE

Thank you so much for this. 15 or so years ago Cursive was playing a toned-down and slower acoustic version of this at some shows with a piano and I had a wonderful recording of it that I lost when a hard drive died. I’ve been trying to find a similar version ever since and I finally found something even if it’s not quite the same. Thank you, thank you! ♥️

Whoever is talking and taking this video..wow. Everyone else in the audience egging him on and cheering for his behavior. This is beyond fucked up. Maybe it’s because everyone in the audience is also inebriated..but this is a perfect example of how an artist struggling doesn’t stand a chance to get or stay sober. I bet y’all bought him drinks after the show, too. Disgusting. Absolutely impossible to watch, and worse to listen to the commentary of the viewers.

I remember when my friend first put on me onto the folk indie/rock country scene before that I was a die hard hip hop fan if you didn't listen to rap you didn't know what good music was but, my friend gave my first two albums back in 2017 the first The War on Drugs' A Deeper Understanding and JTE's Kids in The Street he said start with Maybe A Moment from JTE and with Pain from The War On Drugs now, fast forward to 2022 and we just one giant fat snowball of 7 minute killer songs and 4 minute on repeat ballads. Thank you for everything JTE, everyday your music pushes me through another battle and keeps my demons at bay where they belong in order to make sense of the crazy world and to take everything as that comes with a grain of salt and to not get confused by the storms that will come to pass and as the sun shines on another day the water will make my grass greener 🤞🏼 LLJTE 🕊️
