Welcome to my channel, where I discuss music and cinema. As a composer and recording artist, I delve into the heart of film scores, exploring how music shapes narratives and enhances storytelling in films and shows. From in-depth reviews of scores from cinematic masterpieces like "Rebel Moon" and "Killers of the Flower Moon" to discussions on the atmospheric sounds of "True Detective: Night Country," I uncover the layers that music adds to visual storytelling. Alongside, I share clips from my podcast, offering a glimpse into full conversations available on Spotify, where we dissect the role of music in film and television with fellow artists. This channel is a haven for cinephiles and music enthusiasts alike, seeking to understand the symbiotic relationship between a scene and its score. Join me on this journey through soundscapes and stories, where every note tells a tale.

Presumed Innocent Ep 6 Recap | AppleTV
With Emma specifically I think it may be her choice. She’s an extremely private person who doesn’t do much appearances herself so it could be her saying “I don’t want to do it”. But Ewan is even more of a private person than she is (he doesn’t even have social media, nor does he like to take pictures) and he made plenty appearances. There’s also the fact that Emma was working on a play and a short film this year while promotion for HOTD was happening so it could also be scheduling issues, but overall I truly don’t understand it as well.
Haha in conclusion I don’t understand it… yeah same. I know there have been scheduling conflicts, but outside of that, I don’t know how these decisions are made. I would think that if ur the studio, you would want ur lead in as much of the promotion as possible outside of scheduling conflicts of course. I just don’t feel like there’s been much of an effort. Not to say Emma hasn’t done their fair share of interviews… I’ve seen a lot of them. I just think big sit down talk shows not so much or at all. And I find that strange.
when the executioner says you have to say "the word" my computer restarts and I wtf
Pay close attention they pretend like John committed Harry Caray,, and just a few scenes later when it's in flashback rip is giving a big old shout-out and thanks man 2 Taylor Sheridan's character. A character he wrote as an Uber Chad who is totally useless to the rest of the script,, Taylor Sheridan has sunk The Show by turning it into a vanity project,, how many people who conceived of a show or are a writer for a show go on to make a part for themselves and make that the focal point of several episodes 😂😂😂. He has no respect for other actors he has no respect for other people he has no respect only his hubris and he is blurring the line between reality and fiction because don't forget he went and bought that 6666 Ranch and then started putting that in the show as well Kevin Costner showed up to do filming even after he knew his character had been written out but they told him the script and the production team weren't ready
People keep missing the real point ...corps with the govt taking valuable property for what is the "gold" below...removal of property rights AND what is being done today is what we did to the native Americans in the 1800s. Karma
Getting thru Yellowstone will be the equivalent of Shameless without Frank. Empty air time, not worth the watch.
KC said in a recent interview he didnt quit the show he couldnt film because of scheduling conflicts which the blame should be at paramount+ not the writers etc
That was after the really nasty exchanges occurring in social media.
The truth is it doesn’t matter. The show has been gone for 2 years (?)… they both choose not to resolve it. Ego got in the way and boom we get this first episode. The writers made a call in the story and honestly I think if it goes where I think it’s gonna go, it was a good call. I’m just here validating all of our feelings bc it sucks. For the fans, for the story. For all involved.
No judgement just yet; I figured KC's exit from the show would be abrupt since he didn't come back for the second half; Just didn't expect it to be the suspected suicide angle. Nevertheless, KCs absence had to have thrown some hurdles into how to develop the show, especiall the first episode. Hopefully, now that they got that off the table, the show will have a smoother transition into the storyline. I had more appreciation of the return show when I looked up some of the 6666 folks and Billy Klapper.
I get so frustrated at people who have never written anything other than a four line e-mail who think they know how to write a script and run a show. Just stfu and watch, or not. No one cares what a moron thinks.
Going to see it on Saturday with my best friend, we're flying in from Germany because I love Alexander Zeldins work! And I always wanted to see Tobias Menzies on stage, heard he is also a terrific actor on stage. ❤
So jealous. There are so many things I wouldve done differently.... One would be to do press night. The other the last night of the show. Enjoy it!!!! Its a great play. I'm now a fan of Alexander. And YES Tobias BLEW ME AWAY!!!!!!
@@isaagape Nooo xD I'm jealous of you because you already saw it 😂❤ and on top you met Emma, I really like them as an actress/actor ❤ Zeldins work is immaculate in my opinion, I'm so excited for his version of Antigone! ❤❤❤
😄😍 xoxo from Brazil
Brazil is awesome!!!! 😎
Best show ever ❤
Reasons for my grade (C+): - Rusty fake reaction to Carolyn’s murder Ep.1 - The Volvo explanation was BS those cars are loud - Portraying Carolyn as a s3x crazed coworker damaged her image as a fierce prosecutor - Rusty wins after representing himself seems to good to be true - They didn’t build Mya’s character up more. Imagine her going toe to toe vs Malto -The People vs OJ fx show copycat where lawyer faints - Reasons Rusty did the crime was a result of the Ritalin abuse - Out of all the weapons they pick a blowpoke (Staircase Netflix ) - 1 or 2 episodes were unnecessary it dragged - How did Malto’s “you snapped” didn’t sway the jury - Rusty’s reasons for tampering that scene and helping Jae were hollow - Malto’s acting > Rusty’s acting Please make a season 2 😂
Will there be a new season of Presumed Innocent?
Yes!
The best actor and serie
Shut up!!
The series will continue!!!!! Oh, it ends in chapter 8.

I'm so excited!! Justice for Ryan!!! He carried season 1 for me!
Awesome review, I subscribed 😀
🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I haven't watched the original versions yet. Looking forward to watching these! Good review.
Thanks for checking it out!!! Please let me know what you think of the director’s cuts!!!
I don't have Netflix, I have not seen the films yet... but I also enjoy Snyder's films. I have no doubt it's well made.
Yes yes! I would say well made for sure.
I was wrong I thought it was the son, Kyle and Barbara. Never would have said Jae, left field but I could see it.
Yeah she was super quiet at first…. Sort of like in the background and then whenever she popped up she would say things that made me go hmmm… but I just wasn’t sure which means the show did a great job.
I stand corrected, I was wrong. I did not see the killer coming. I was close, but when I saw it I was like, it makes sense. Great recommendations. The Undoing was excellent.
Thank you!!! I figured some of us would go through a letting go stage of the show so 9 shows to help cure some of it haha.
2:39 You were right.
Hahaha and then right after I said “I don’t even know anymore!!” Such a great season. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
The actor that played Ruth did a damn good job. For a second she literally looked like she began to question herself. Like “damn, did I really do it?”
I have to agree with you. Whew.....
David E. Kelley understandably changes the ending. Rusty Sabich is the annihilator of his family, yet Barbara chooses Rusty over her daughter and son; that was disturbing as Barbara leaving Rusty with her kids saves them from the trauma of being further conditioned by him. I know it is a work of fiction, yet because of the times I was sickened about Barbara not removing her kids from Rusty.
Thanks for the different perspective. I wasn't too sure how I felt about the ending...probably still don't. I did the video literally right after I was done watching it. Thank you so much for your POV.
@isaagape Oh I am all for different perspectives on the Finale. I admit I am watching a lot of drama Television as I am in a chronic illness flare this month. I am letting myself away with it until August when I hope and pray I can get routine back in my life. Bless you x!
tommy is jake gyllenhal’s brother in law in real life 😊 it made their on screen tension kinda funny too
Ah yes it did lol
Great dialogue, casting, screenplay but ruined the last 30 minutes…like it had a last minute treatment and rushed the end
Yeah… endings of a season for whatever reason are hard to stick the landing…. I think like you said a bit rushed… maybe they filmed two different endings and depending on a renewal decided to go with the one we got… don’t know
@@isaagape the way the daughter walked in ruin the reveal..the rest was superb though
wow. just wow, one of the best finale twists i've seen in a long time!!
💯 they did that!!!!
The whole show had you go back and forth with how you felt about a particular character. There were times where you were happy that something happened while being mad at the same time. Another show with excellent writing from Apple and the acting was intense.
I was positively glued to the screen! Every week, I could not wait until the next episode dropped! So sad it's over now. Such great performances. I thought I was prepared for the reveal of who the killer really was, but they really got me. Never saw it coming! Maybe I'll go read the book next. Any TV show or book recommendations that are the same calibre as Presumed Innocent???
Yes I’m working up a list… will dispatch today here. Be on the lookout 👀
hey hey as promised: th-cam.com/video/aranesnT0sI/w-d-xo.html
Shit was crazy !!!!
Hahaha so crazy
I enjoyed the finale ! Great performances, I was more suspicious of the son than the daughter, so it surprised me! Agreed on Apple TV not getting enough marketing.
Thanks for the comment. Maybe we can start a campaign to get AppleTV to get themselves together on their marketing. In regards to the show… always sad when a good one ends. What an ending!!!
Only thing I know is neither Rusty or Tommy killed Carolynn 🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️🤷🏾♂️
My thought about the scene showing Tommy going home alone to his cat was to show how lonely and desperate he is for affection and attention. You can already feel this in the way he is so desperate for Nico’s approval. He doesn’t seem to have friends at work (his male co-workers call him a hack, his female workers say he gives them ick) and it made me wonder if he killed Carolyn out of jealousy-either because she was willing to date someone in the office but didn’t want him anywhere near her, or simply because she was such a better lawyer than him. (I’m not really convinced he was the killer, he just does a good job at being unlikeable that I want it to be him.)
I love this!!! Exactly right
My question. Someone who was not in the courtroom planted the murder weapon and broke into the apt
Who are you thinking?
Wow! Look at Amy Adams in this one! I can't wait to watch.
Yeah she was so great. The makeup department did a fantastic job with this film. Let me know what you think. It’s on Netflix!
The kids
Its the kids and the mom helped them clean up
The fact that none of us is really sure who the killer is, says that they did the writing Right!
The fact that 7 episodes in, nobody in the audience knows anything about who Carolyn Polhemus is and why all these other people 'may' have wanted to kill her, says they took a perfectly written book and botched the storytelling of it.
@@daveclark8337 that part is also true 😆 Renate has more seggs scenes than court scenes
I know that’s right!!!
It’s the wife obv
My humble thoughts: Who would she trust enough to let into her apartment? Who had access to files about that previous case, knowing the details of the murder and how she was tied up? Who has a creepy infatuation with Rusty? Who would put an office-related Post-it note on the murder weapon? Answer: The legal secretary!! She did it. And she feels terrible that Rusty is going down, so she put in Tommy's house.
Love it. Thanks for the comment.
She probably snapped and killed Caroline after Rusty's visit when Caroline called to her crying, and told her that she was pregnant.
Yea I can see that being a def possibility
Yep! Great catch!
Maybe the Rusty’s wife and Tommy set the whole thing up? Maybe Rusty’s wife is pretending like she doesn’t know what’s going on when in reality her and Tommy was up to it this whole time? Idk just throwing out ideas
Yeah no I’ve thought of this and so many other options.
I’m really enjoying your recaps, but people need to understand this. The Judge is doing things that only happen on fantasy courtrooms not real ones. The burden of proof is on the prosecution, it stays with the government. It never shifts to the defendant. Del Guardia, thinking as a prosecutor he can ask for a mistrial is insanity. If the State asks for a mistrial Rusty walks free, why, because jeopardy has attached and you can’t twice be put in jeopardy for the same offense it’s a provision in the US Constitution and every state constitution . Rusty could not in any shape, fashion or form open a door, where any judge or any prosecutor could compel him to take the stand, it’s sheer fantasy. At no point in time could Maya walk off of a case the way she did even if Rusty wanted to “represent himself” as is his right but Maya would’ve been sitting in that seat right there the whole time. It would never happen, the fact that his, primary attorney Raymond, had some kind of heart attack or electrical disruption, and had to get a pacemaker a pacemaker MEANS that your heart isn’t working. You don’t come out stronger because your heart is already weak. I’m not even a doctor, but my mom had three pacemakers so I know a little something about them. The adjournment request would’ve been for a week not a day. I love the drama. I love the suspense. I love now we know who actually did it but, guess what the burden never ever shifts to Rusty at all. He should have listened to Maya and took the mistrial. The craziest part about this case is that while Rusty was at the scene before Carolyn died there’s not a drop of his DNA anywhere, on a piece of rope anywhere in her house except under her fingernails that by itself is reasonable doubt the show is crazy. I am enjoying it as an attorney, but the reason why I hate watching lawyer shows is that it gets out there in the ether that a criminal defendant has a burden of proof in a criminal case, you don’t and people see this craziness on TV and they don’t know it’s just fantasy. I am enjoying it and I’m enjoying the recaps as I said, but I just had to step in for this one.
Who do you think did it?
I can respect that. I know nothing about being an attorney. I recap what I see, the story that’s being told. Not what the reality is. The shows we see is full of bent reality. I love what you said because yeah I can imagine it be super hard to watch something like this and take it seriously. So thank you so much for your comment. Much appreciated. And keep sharing your pov. It’s helpful to know what’s up.
Technically Raymond did leave the hospital stronger, as he had bradycardia which caused the cardiac arrest. Receiving the pacemaker treats the bradycardia, therefore he was technically better than he was before. Obviously, having a pacemaker isn’t optimal health, but he is much better off than if he didn’t get it implanted at all. And he should have been in a arm spling lol
Ha!
@@GardeniaBlossoms_ point well taken.
I still don’t think his wife did it. I’m still going with Tommi.
Good good. We will soooooonnnnn find out!!!
Awesome review
Thank you much!!!!
I can’t wait for season 2…
Yeah it will be interesting what the new case will be and if original characters will come back…
I think it was Barbara and the son. The son knew about the affair, he was at the house that night, he and his mom was alone in his room discussing the murder. They both seem guilty but also calm at the same time 😀
Good point!!!
The murder weapon is in Barbara’s art studio!
