@@DavidAudioR , to 1 ohm (dual 2 in parallel)...my amp is 1 ohm stable, for now it is just only a renegade rxa 1200d what i had just laying around at home - by the manufacturer it is able to push 600 wrms on 1 ohm, the sub is 500, but impedance rise: for sure im underpowering it...and + stock electrical system for now...and the tuning: basically i optimized it to not overpass xmax on 500 wrms at 20 hz and above + it was giving me relatively flat response graph...in the description i shared the project, if you want to, check it...

@@PBasschannel have you thought of eventually wiring them to 4 ohm for more damping factor? you'd have to get a bigger amp, I am currently looking into this for my own subs to run more efficient and supposedly a little better sound quality

@DavidAudioR , yep...exactly...i thought too that i will buy in the future a much bigger amp, and wire the sub in series...but i already measured my trunk, and i know what is the biggest possible simple box that i can put into my car, and still close the trunk door, just i will need to go with both subs and port up layout...if that box i tune similarly low, it should be enough for the most of "better" 2x10 inch subs, or for very beefy 2x8 inch subs...so honestly, im not sure if i will buy a stronger amp for this rf p3 or not...but yeah, wiring the sub in series + a big amp will be much better for sure...

@@subdynoman , yes...as i wrote in the video, imo the amp + the stock electrical system are holding it back, however it sounds flat and clean + the kicks are hitting hard too...so, anyhow, i would need to buy a stronger amp and build a proper electrical system for it...just im not sure yet if i will do that for this exact sub, or to my next one...bcs i already measured what is the biggest box what i can put into my trunk + still close its door normally, and that box would be good for almost all 2x10 inch, or 2x beefy 8 inch subs - like for example jl w7-8 or sundown x8...and also rn i will not have time for it...i have too much work now...so honestly, i dont know yet when i will do that...

@@leonrotedits thanks mate...also for that 20 wrms arn 6604 im gonna make a series bp6...the box plans i have kinda finished...will see how it turns out, bcs by simulations at that 53 hz peak it should get like +4 db...

yep...this is a german brand...by my experience looks like its specs actually are accurate...and it is reliable too - i bought it 3 yrs ago, and i still have it, in a 22 hz tuned box which has a net volume a bit more than 2x bigger as the recommended net volume by the manufacturer, and it takes the beating - it is still in good condition, however i never overpowered it, moreover i think even im underpowering it a bit...check my other vids of it, also i made a box build vid for it, spl measurement vids too, and of course few demo vids...the newest vid of it i uploaded approx 1 year ago...

If you invert the sub, the net vol increases = will be louder, also tuned around probably up to 1 hz lower (bigger net vol with the same exact port has lower tuning), but there will be not as big diff, probably just measurable with some measuring equipment bcs the driver's basket and magnet has small displacement - imo isnt really worth of inverting it, but u can try it out if u want to...the bottoming out causes mainly the relatively high tuning - at 35 hz starts to have bigger excursion, and under 32 (mainly at 30-28 hz) it bottoms out, + the amp has no subsonic filter, and also the inputs are too sensitive: at a too high pc volume setting the amp can even clip with volume knob set less than the half - i'm using mine with bass knob set at 50 percent, volume knob set at 60 percent, main pc volume setting at 60-65 percent (but this can differ bcs for sure u have different soundcard/chip), music player and other volume settings at 100 percent...yes, in general all sub / bass speaker needs to get breaked in to sound properly, so use ur z-623 often during like 2-3 weeks, just not really blast the music on it...

thank you for the info! So if I get it… if I invert the subwoofer and extend the port, it will have more bass than just extend the port right? Or it will be little bit louder on lower hz? What would you do? I just want to go deaf and shake some stuff 😅 btw subwoofer will be mostly in car, in wagon if this makes any difference. Again thank you for the info.

@@RedBeast420 , yeah, by inverting the sub u will get more bass, but imo there will be just a very small diff bcs the speaker itself has kinda small basket / magnet...but also it will have more excursion too what can be bad mainly at freqs which are far from the new tuning what makes the port extension (obviously for lows too, but can be bad for higher 50 hzish bass too)...imo try it out firstly just extend the port, then invert the sub with extended port and u will see if it is worth of or not...and another thing what can be a bad thing when inverting the sub: air hissing from the voicecoil's cooling system, but again: try it out and u will see...and another thing from the theory by inverting the sub: more net vol with the same port = somewhat higher port air velocity...again inverting the sub = net vol will be higher, pros: can be louder, lower tuning, cons: higher excursion (potential bottoming out problems), higher port air velocity (which can cause louder port noise), and air noise from the vc's cooling system
