Is this code the same on a 1DZ 8FD40U?
Yes it is the same fault for the 1kd
Hi proplem 0b-1
Over temp fault
Buenos días amigo, tengo un problema con un equipo similar prende y no acelera, no he logrado escanearlo, porque no tengo conexión entre la computadora y el scanner, puedes asesorarme, puedes enviarme dirección de correo o número de wassap
What make and model of machine?
Good job
Thank you!!
Sir i need your help iwanna send you a video for my forklift give me your email
What make and model is it. And whats the issue?
a model 52-8FDF25 1zsEngine The problem is I don't know how to explain it if I send you a better video The engine is uncomfortable The rpm goes up and down There are no errors on the screen please help me
Replace fuel filter and pull the sending unit out to check the pick up screen. Sounds like may be fuel contamination
Buemos dias maestro le felicito por su trabajo por favor tengo un código 11-2 toyota 8fdu32 motor 1zs algun información gracias
That is a egr position sensor fault. What is your email and i will send you the right info. Blue wire is 5v ref, should have 5 volts on that wire key on. Brown is negative. Pink is signal wire. Those 1zs are notorious for harness issues
What pin is it on the harness? I’m trying to bypass mines as well cause I currently have the same code 0c-2
If you have a email. I will send you the connector view. For reference its the big plug on ECM PIN 110( red) Intake air signal, 65 is (black/blue)MAF Signal, 87(black) is IAT ground, 64 yellow/red is MAF ground
Sorry for late response
Hola cómo o quién comanda el inyector de GLP
On the newer K series the ECM controls the injector. On the older k series there was a separate injector driver module
Good video but i would refrain from disconnecting the ignition coil whilst the engine is running, you could overload the injector driver and fry the pcm, of course its not common but does happen sometimes if not careful, kind regards
Hello, problem 1c-2
1c2 is large leak detected in the high pressure fuel system. Usually a injector or common rail issue. If you pull the return line off the common rail and see fuel comming out excessively, you have a bad pressue relief in the rail. To determine if it is a injector you need the software. Or pull off the main return line from injector to see if there is excesive flow
I just got this code on my Nissan, prior to it showing up cleaned the throttle body, an then shortly after e43 showed. Engine started running low rpm an odd. I drained vaporizer an it was crazy how much crap came out of it. Now it runs good again but still the code.. does the code need to removed with diagnostic tool?
Usually you wont need to clear after you repair the problem(s). You can try with a regular OBD2 automotive scan tool, the connextor is under the cup holder taped to harness. And you do not need a million dollar one. One from Harbor freigjt or autozobe will do. I have seen that E43 come on for charging system issues, O2 sensor failure, main injector failure, fuel pressure sensor circuit failure. The criteria for setting a E43 is the ECM failure to drive the fuel mixture lean or rich, so you have to think along those lines. Which you did with cleaning out the regulator. Depending on what year you have, there is also a screen on the fuel inlet to throttle body that gets gunked up too
@@CliffH1082 well I did the foot pedal dance to clear the code after draining the vaporizer an it’s gone thus far.
Nice!! Does your machine have a digital display?
can you give me 1zs motor error repor and electrical diagram
Sure whats the error?
And send your email address. Ill get you a diagram
Hello . Do you know what error code E14-2 warns of?
Whats the model and serial number
@@CliffH1082 model 02-8FDJ35 . Can you check that error code for me?
Im so sorry my portal here in the states doesnt give me any info on that model. That numerical code diesnt even exist in any of the 1dz models i have info on. Skips from 13-1,2,etc to 15-2
OR-- Re-set computer disconnect negative cable for 15 seconds..will clear code and engine will go normal
If you have a hard fault, you must fix the issue. Simply clearing the fault via capacitive diacharge does not fix the problem and the fault will come back if not fixed
Cliff what’s up bro I see u
Hey sean!! Thanks for watching. I appreciate it
Great vid 👍
Thank you Charlie!!! Greatly appreciated
he changed out all parts concerned, as he has a few machines at hand, biggest problem is its not throwing out a fault code?? we both worked for cat dealer, and he branched out on his own, i still work for dealer but this one threw me, as when i hook up software it will not recognise ecm, software used to be diagnozer but now change to trucktool
no bud, it was a friend of mine, he changed the loom as he was getting all kinds of errors but still same, come to conclusion it is ecm, but gotta way with it by limiting the pedal travel
Wow weird. If that cured it to a degree maybe he can double back and check accelerator pedal. The two middle wires are app1 and app2. Key on you should have 600mv(.6V) on one and 300mV(.3V) on the other. And if you depress the accelerator smoothly voltage should go up respective to pedal movement. Up to about 2v.
hi cliff, do you have experience on the mitsubishi pbp 18n2 powered pallet truck switch on operates fine but when you stop walk away for minute red light flashing 196 showing on screen and the only way it will operate again is switch off then back on,
Im sorry to say i dont. I havent come across a lot of mitsu electric lifts
Were you able to remedy that lack of power issue on that k21?
We use that same Hitachi scanner at our shop. Sometimes e27 can be set off by a bad coil too but won't be a hard start symptom. It looks like they dropped in the old design sensor too.
Ive seen that too. A cylinder with a dead miss due to coil failure cause e27. I use my Autel 906bt now with these k series
hi, having trouble with cat gp35 n, press pedal fast and engine bogs down /hesitant, pretty sure assist injection fault which we changed, opened up wiring check for usual wire issues with these cats, have a constant B+ to assist injector so assuming the return is switch earth going back to ecm and assuming its not switched in ecm , no codes present, tried trucktool software but cannot communicate to ecm, always just getting mismatch to ecm, someone probably swapped out ecm from doner, would you know a way to get around this ecm missmatch issue? very greatful for any help
The assist injector negative is supplied by the ecm, usually under high load. Does the unit idle ok?
Did you use the obd2 connector under cup holder? Or the port for the vcm?
@@CliffH1082 hi, thx for reply, yes it idles ok and revs if done slowly but press pedal quick and very hesitant it seems to be assist injector not operating, had this while back on other machines and has always had bad wires to assist injector, do you know if there is anything that influences the ecm switching?
@@CliffH1082 vcm but cant communicate with ecm software saying there is a mismatch
Usually when the MAF signal is over 3-3.5v is criteria for ecm to control that injector. The assist injector control wire is pin 11 on the bigger connector. Can do a koeo voltage check, should be clise to battery voltage. Also the spring/check ball assembly in that inj isnt gunked up. Id also verify fuel pressure if you havent. Only bc ive seen those engine rev up fine with the assist not even connected. There are couple of factors to rule out with that symptom. Throttle position, lpg pressure sensor signal in some cases(if ecm cant verify lpg pressure to coordinate with the other inputs injection pulse will be off).
Great demo! Thank you Sir.
Thank you for the feedback
Good content cliff. Very detailed videos. Would love to see more. In depth videos. Keep them coming 👍
Wow! Thank you very much. I will definitely try to put out more vids, and with better quality too. I know cell phone footage can be better
Great example and explanation, a lot of people tell you what you will see but never show you. Thanks!
Nice work, nice explanation
Thanks michael!!

Thanks for the explanation
You're welcome.
Good diag! Most would have swapped coils and replaced it when the problem moved with the coil. That's great when everything is easy to get to. Understanding how to use the scope like you've demonstrated here really helps when things aren't so east to access. How do you like that scope? It looks like it's really responsive.
I personally love it. It is really responsive. Only complaint really is that it doesn't give you live readings on its own. You have to set your cursor and monitor voltage or amperage. It has a duty cycle calculation feature which isn't that accurate. So I don't use it, I just pause the capture and do it myself. Thanks for the feedback
I am dealing with the exact same lift its throwing the e-43 but currently will not run at all. Was wondering if you had any luck with it?
Sorry for late response. I've seen that e43 come on for a variety of reasons. Because it's an air fuel ratio type error there can be several things. In my experience I have seen inoperative o2 sensors be the cause(either sensor side or heater side). Ignition misfires. Some cases failing MAF senssor. One of the most odd was a bad alternator. If system voltage drops too far the ECM goes into a default mode where it ignores the 02. I've also seen bad LPG injectors, or bad gasoline injectors. For the most part that code will trip when o2 voltage too high(rich) or too low(lean).
If its not running at all now and you have e43 I'd definitely look towards fuel system. If its LPG check pressure at regulator (initial key on about 10psi, cranking and running should be between 4.5-5.5 psi). Over fueling could be a possibility too. Do you hear propane by passing and coming out air cleaner?
@@CliffH1082 It appears to charge all the way up to the main injector. As it will atmosphere lpg when I remove the hose. I cant really hear anything cranking over. I just threw a new primary injector in it yesterday with no change. Will have to purchase a pressure tester to see what I actually have. Pretty limited on tools.
Yea man that tester I got is 15 dollars from harbor freight. Just standard vacum/low pressure guage. One more thing, that lpg pressure sensor the middle wirw(if it's a nissan should be white with green trace) is the signal wire. If you back probe it you should get .6-.8volts with key on and cranking. If that voltage is high like 2 or 3volts the ecm thinks that there is too much fuel pressure and it won't control the injector
I'd also get back to basics and verify what you are missing. Make sure there's spark, compression, etc. And a quick test to see if you have injection pulse is use a low amp test light and check that fuse underneath the main injector. Your test light should pulse as as you're cranking engine while on that fuse
Looks like a bad negative connection inside the encoder to one of the signal channel based on the elevated voltage. Does it limit the speed on these units or just codes out and disable drive.
YES. A Bad B- inside the actual encoder causing that one signal to remain high. Power and ground to encoder were verified. Especially ground because of elevated voltage. It will code out and the unit will jerk if you try to accelerate past 25%. Sorry for late response and thank you for watching
