When I first found this book, I was surprised by how timeless some of the advice was. You might've heard of P.T. We hope you enjoy Jane Austen's early novella, Love and Friendship! Some scholars think she wrote it around 14 years of age, and to entertain her family. NOTE: The 2016 film titled "Love & Friendship" was based on another novella from Austen titled "Lady Susan," which you can listen to here: th-cam.com/video/iNv85BuLvw0/w-d-xo.html If you hear words pronounced oddly, we have preserved some (of what we interpret as) purposeful misspellings (such as "eoconomical" and "adeiu"). This work is satirical and exaggerated, much more dramatic than some of Austen's later novels. She was making fun of some conventions of the time, such as hasty declarations of love. Personally, I found it fascinating to read, as you can see how her style evolved over time. I'm curious to hear what think of this work, and what similarities you see to her later novels.
