i am running a pair of them each amp is wired at .4 ohms

um no its in a shitty car for a reason at this level the bass destroys cars

im switching to 4x 15's over the winter

its hard to get good sound with a cell phone

its not clipped this is back when i ran 5x recoil 1200.1 amps thats a clean signal with no clips light son any of the amps

@Rider-xsb I did that with the Durango and ripped the top of the cab 3 inches, with 4 layers of 80mil sound deadner. It was my first windshield I took out, so I went hard to the paint🤦‍♂️.

Only because I'm adding a second bank and second 8k once that goes in they will b fused the battery bank itself is fused so I'm not to worried about it atm

So basically the battery thats parrell with your bank has fuses between? ​@Rider-xsb

i bought the big boss cause i have heard its a lil beefier internally then the smart 8 , i dont know if its true but for 45$ more then the price of the sdmart8 bass i figured id give it a shot

@@Bulletii i have zero compliants and ive been loving it , so much so im installing a second big boss 8k , the only thing i see that sucks on it is the built in crossovers , but i run an external dsp so its really not an issue

Confesso que nem todos os modelos entregam a potência que diz na etiqueta, mas mesmo assim continuam sendo bons. Você perguntou qual é melhor, entre o boss e o smart, eu acredito que sejam iguais.

i always say its a great sound system with a tiny car attached to it

loving it , at my last show/comp i pretty much full tilt demoed + my runs in the lanes all day long 10am-6/7 pm lowest voltage i ever seen was 12.5 keep in mind once my alt gets hot it only charges at 13.9/14.0, still running a stock 100 amp alt but not for much longer

@Rider-xsb that's good. Do u have a balancer on the battery and did u charge it before installing or did u just install as is? Are u running that amp at .5 ohm

@@Evo-ed7hw i have a 10 amp heltec balancer on it , i did charge it before putting it in the car , running that amp at .8 ohm currently my only other option would be to wire down to .2 ohm, soon ill be installing a second 8k amp and both will be running at .4 ohm. when i do that ill be installing a second identical battery from jag35 so each amp has its own battery

@Rider-xsb what do u think of the jp40 lithium I'm debating between jag35 148ah and the jp40 since the price on the jp40 dropped a good amount. I have a 260amp alt so that jp40 says it can handle 8k with a high amp alt

​@Evo-ed7hw the Jag should hold more juice. Had mine on a 320 amp alternator and voltage stays at 14.6 to 14.8 on a not so hot 100 plus degrees day. Had a smart 5 wired to .5 ohm. I think I have enough juice so just got a Big Boss 8 about to wire to .5 ohm. I'll post how it holds up.
