The one i got i guess, but i hate it because of the velocis and the ledge. The big water area at camp 2 is great too tho, the speer fish and big flat area is ideal for fighting mizu.

I tried Zin ls but it was never that good imo. Without purple gold rath is better (because 20 more affi + 10 more raw from Foray + the poisen dmg can help against the afflicted mons). Zin with purple out dmg gold with poisen + foray but only on head and sometimes you can't really hit the head that good

Tbh i think when it comes to Ice ls i prefer Velkhana (because faster frost craft recharge and 10 more raw). So the reason i chose Gold LS is Ice zones are super shit on him. Only on charges parts they are good, but even then they are pretty low, so gold rath + poisen dmg is better for Monsters that have shit ele zones

I got focus because of the velkhana waist. So no real reason to go for it

I tried HC but it was kinda useless. He will trip anyway at the beginning of the fight and i struggled hitting him with HC so i didn't used it.

Haha thank you I tried to focus on the head when he's grounded, but that wasn't so good because he did start spam more shitty moves. If you focus the leg area you can stagger him better. It's like 4U runs of him haha

Aknosom LS is more or less MAgmadron LS, but with less fire (27 fire), a lv 1 rampage slots and 10 more raw, so Magmadron is better. Rathalos maybe? You have 20 fire less but a little bit of purple and the same slots. So maybe rathalos is a bit better? i'm not sure

Thank you c: The Thunder Swaxe is better for mizu because 350 raw dmg is super high + mizu don't take much element dmg (he got a 15 thunder hitzone on the head in bubble armor which is nothing). So Narwa and Zin aren't the best option for him

diving wyvern always outdamages it so its only ever useful if ur out of virebugs or can't land it due to the straight line you descend in

For something like a speedrun, yes, the damage they do in that small window is enough to justify forgoing severing type kinsects' extra element damage. But for everyday hunting, I've found the exalted to be even or better than gleambeetle. Over the course of the whole hunt, the extra element damage really does stacks up meanwhile stuns will only get harder to trigger and not last as long.

It really depends on the monster tbh, if they have high elemental hitzones(20+) then using the higher element ones would be useful and if they’re on the lower side building raw and using the element as a compliment to the damage, for example the Rajang ones have very high raw with the low element would be great against things with low electric main weakspots vs things with a higher elemental hitzones.
