Technically that's their birthday since they were released July 18th, 2008. (Well, Act 2 anyway.) And besides, Rin and Len were originally going to be released as twins until Crypton saw fanart of their relationship being different, so they instead announced that they were mirror images and were not twins or lovers.

The person you replied to never said they were twins. They share a birthday because they are the same person but mirror images. However, I don't feel up to the details so I shall not explain that. Look it up.
