Great playing man. I just got back into playing my alto after 12 years since coming out of high school. I see you’re still rockin that syos. I just watched that video before this one. Is it holding up good for you? I’m currently on a Meyer 6m but I do like the idea of having a custom mouthpiece once I get decent again.
Thanks man. It’s funny that you mention that because I just came off of a Meyer G7. I love the mouthpiece but I wanted something that was more bright and had a lot more power. So that’s why I’ve decided to get me a SYOS mouthpiece and it’s like match made in heaven for me.

Hey man! This was a great review. I have a question though, I need help. How do I know what tip opening to get? I want a syos mouthpiece but I don’t know how to determine which tip opening I need
I’d do a lot of research and studying. I know for me I’m more comfortable playing on a 7 with a 2.5 or 3 reed. It’s more of a relationship between a larger or smaller opening vs. the thickness of the reed if that makes sense.
