How to Configure a Gigaset A 510 IP handset with a config Code. Second part of the video shows you how to hard reset the base station should the handset be playing up or lost the configuration. IMPORTANT: Before hard resetting the base station make sure you have your Config code written down.

Hi where do you get the config code thanks
From your phone service provider, If they dont give you one you will me need to configure the handset manually via the MASGUI interface.

Hi mike thank you very much for this video. I am currently using the Gigaset A580 IP system with A58H handsets. But lately I get 701 error afterspeaking to client on a incoming and out going phone calls. Do you think it is my firewall or the settings on the base station itself ? Please note that most ISP's are use-list here in South Africa. I would like to hear from you. Regards, Francois
