    The outriggers themselves once retracted and upright should lock in to the four corners of the complete fold up assembly. Would look a lot neater and look less standalone and possibly prone to being impacted during transit.

      Hi Tomasz, SolarBalance is the collective name for a system in which solar panels can be quickly and easily folded in and out from a compact configuration. This is possible in both fixed and mobile setups, and the system can be applied in various sectors and configurations. The benefits of folding are enormous. In fixed setups, double land use, for example, is a major advantage. For mobile applications, sustainable energy can be generated quickly and autonomously anywhere. Think of remote areas, aid organizations, defense, events, construction and infrastructure projects, and so on (see other video's for examples) In addition to sustainability, the system distinguishes itself from other solutions by its simplicity and the related robustness. To fold (180 degrees), we use a special hinge technique developed by us. The great advantage of this technique is that no interference, wear, or maintenance-sensitive parts such as chains, cables, and guides are used. This advantage guarantees reliable and maintenance-friendly operation. The system is also designed so that all panels are almost always in balance during folding. This means that relatively little force is required for folding and tilting the panels, and light, standard (energy-efficient) linear drives can be used instead of heavy motor reducers or hydraulic systems. An additional advantage here is that the low forces on pivot points and bearings have a positive effect on the system's service life.

Currently, we are busy with the development and production of a manual model, attracting partners, and seeking financing to further develop the automated systems. Because everything is still in development, it is not easy to provide prices at this time, and there is no system available for export. However, this will change quickly in the coming months. Export to Pakistan will also not be a problem once we have the system ready. We will announce this through this TH-cam channel once it is available.

      Expanded, wind capture is definitely something to take into account. Our goal is to make the system strong enough to remain operational up to wind force 7 or 8. Above that, the panels should be (automatically) folded in. When expanded, stability is determined by its own weight and the support legs. The structure itself is made of aluminum and therefore lightweight, but batteries can (are) placed underneath the base frame, which greatly increases its weight. To further increase stability, the support legs can be adjusted in length and angle, based on practical testing. For now, it is not intended to anchor the system to or in the ground, but depending on the ground it's being placed on, there are all kinds off possibilities

TIP: Save costs on electricity bills by avoiding purchases from the grid / amortization is shortened: With Dimmer + Solar PV, self-sufficiency will now increase to almost 95%, because expensive purchases from the grid are so easily suppressed and the electricity bill lasts just like the electricity meter. The prerequisite is that you have at least a small solar PV balcony power plant, and you don't need an expensive battery either. Example of a kettle: Without a dimmer, the 2500W - 600W PV system needs = 1900W, which you have to pay more for. If I turn the kettle down to 600W with a dimmer, then every weak PV system can now supply each consumer independently and independently, because the 2500W kettle becomes a 600W kettle thanks to the dimmer.     I like the design I imagine the final product would need larger outriggers on the trailer or anchors on the ends of the rotating lower mount. That's a lot of surface area to catch wind. Again, super cool. I like the folding design a lot better than older generator designs with a big frame and the panels slide out on drawer rails.

      Hi Russell, You are absolutely right. During the development, calculations and testing will determine how large and heavy everything ultimately needs to be. However, the emphasis of the design does indeed lie in the folding of the panels. For this, we use special, maintenance-free hinges that can be used in any situation and under all weather conditions, unlike, as you noted, sliding systems, chains, cables, and springs. These types of components are prone to malfunctions and require a lot of maintenance. We also use actuators for the drives that have been extensively tested in the most diverse conditions. Therefore, it is a very reliable, easy-to-transport system that allows you to generate a relatively large amount of solar energy quickly and easily anywhere. Thank you for your response.
