Why this 1989 album "Enraged will .."is not sold anywhere?it's not bad album at all, allthough they say it's their worst because of drummachine etc.,there are brilliant songs on album (including this one),and "An Address To The Better Off" and "What Our Boys Are Fighting For?"
No idea there was a video to this. My fav favest McC. song. This morning looked at my old LP and with no way to play it. So I looked on here and here it is [yay!!]
Sorry, you've got a good point there ;) Personally, just for me, this song strongly reminds me of the first time I listened to the first few Stereolab singles. Particularly the way the lines are delivered. Isn't Laetitia doing some backing vocals on this somewhere? My imagination? Anyway cheers for uploading something ace!
I was really into this band at the time although I don't agree with their left wing politics
What a cool jam bb b
...Because it's infinitely more masculine to use limp-wristed words like 'chap' and misspellings of masturbate, Betty?
Bollocks.
two members of this band went to the school next to mine :3
I just ordered all three albums...now the waiting begins.
you guys are all full of shit.
@abikyogra Not really, listen to Jeane by the Smiths...
@MrGutley new order are better than joy division. a tory less never hurts anyone!
@mercuriopiccoli not sure...
i do remember it from 120 minutes this brilliant show of mtv in those days...jungle pop best!
you're an idiot @MrGutley
Love it, absolutely love it
Brilliant tune from a great band...discovered them through a cover the Manic Street Preachers used to do of 'We are all bourgeois now'....
Superb. A woefully under-appreciated and under-exposed band. One thing, though. Is this slow or has the version on 'Enraged' been sped up?
Great song, paving the way for genius to come.
@mercuriopiccoli come on, old bean...

no way!
Proud owner of a 12" copy of this, along with a fully functional turntable. It's had a spin out in the last month or tow, as has 'I Am A Wallet'.
McCarthy were better than Stereolab
I second that
That's like saying that The Beatles were never quite the band that Wings became. 😆
Does anybody know what the chords for this are?
McCarthy make me feel joyous. Tim Gane has very nice hair, I must say. I am awfully jealous.
oh the memories. may 21st 1988. still have the poster for that gig on my wall.
¡MUCHAS GRACIAS!

Brilliant, classic pop tune. Their most Stereolab-like moment too. Happiness.
Gosh, I so love McCarthy. No clue they had any vids...
thank you for putting this up! i had it years and years ago but have lost it since.
