BMW X3 e83 interior light locations (HOW TO OPEN) tools in description
Switched my original yellow lights to LED lights and found no videos on how to do it. So to help somebody in the future I filmed the process on how to open all interior lights without the risk of breaking anything. Hopefully this video can at least help 1 person.

I had different ones in the foot well, they where twist to get the bulb separate from the housing

What about the light on the tailgate
I actually don't know how to open that one, I assume you have to remove the whole back board. but I don't know where the holding spots are :s
I tried replacing my driver’s side vanity lights and now both of them don’t work for some reason my 2006 X3🙃
What size are the bulbs
if you mean by length I think they are about 1 Inch long. The link provided in the description will automatically lead you to the OEM OSRAM lights for this model or the Off Market Led Lights on Ebay.

Great Video. I have a 2007 BMW X3, the center overhead light dome alone would not come off. I could not pry with a swipe. Not sure what is holding it but it is not coming off.
Hello! Unfortunately the X3 series from 03-06 are different than their 07-10 counterparts. I do not know how to remove your specific Light dome. I did find a video that might help you out. best of luck! th-cam.com/video/9vyjll_d_8w/w-d-xo.html
Someone asked if the lights were white or had a blue tint, for some reason the comment was deleted. ANYWAYS, The lights I received from Ebay are *pure white* (no blue hue). The OSRAM original lights are yellow.
