Look into the Big Squeegee. So much easier.

That tube is brilliant!!! I’m getting ready to do two 4’x5’ signs. I’m thinking using the tube will be the way to do it. Thank you!!
Does not have the full UV overlay....holes are open?
Ahh using a tube.. good trick.
which felt squeegee is that?
Just started at a shop making signs this big. Definitely adding the tube to the process.
The tube is a great idea
That drill is ridonckulus, is there a tiny vacuum on there?
Only faster way is to transfer tape both colors at once and lay it all in one piece.
Nice drum beat! Lol
ur dustbin is full

Pretty skillful work there. I just did a 4'x10' and I went down wet. Bet you are hoping for a laminator for Christmas.
The print is laminated. I would guess he is hoping for a bigger workspace.
@@xDMG15xpretty sure he meant applying it with a laminator as it is much easier and quicker.
@@6upsidedown oh yep, seems obvious now, i’m an idiot 🤦🏼♂️
What are the advantages of printing directly on to vinyl, rather than cutting it all out individually and using transfer tape?
Is one or two steps is always advised to add lamination not only to protect the inks, but also to increase life of the product, you also have unlimited color capabilities. Now with color vinyl you a limited color capability, if there are multiple colors that is multiple rolls of media you need to purchase, plus masking then there are multiple steps, from cutting, weeding and applying mask, then you you have to apply the product to the surface, all that translate in time.
So I tried with with general formulations 3 mil unlaminated & it just kept sticking to my substrate trying to setup the core & peel the backing off...any tips? What vinyl do you use for this type of application?
always laminate before applying. it will help it stay stable and straight, less chance of wrinkles. learn the laminator method, faster no sweat. without lam, it is pain in the back. if using liquid lam, apply with transfer tap like we do with decals.
