Age Gaps in Gay Dramas: Why They're So Common
Every gay movie has an age gap of at least 10 years. Is this a coincidence? We think not. This video looks at Call Me By Your Name, Killing Eve, Carol, Blue is the Warmest Color, Atomic Blonde, and The Favourite as examples of gay movies/tv shows featuring couples with age gaps.
This video uses clips from Call Me By Your Name (2017), Carol (2015), Blue is the Warmest Color (2013), Atomic Blonde (2017), and The Favourite (2018).

Why Villanelle Loves Eve on Killing Eve
มุมมอง 405K4 ปีที่แล้ว
It's easy to see why Eve loves Villanelle-who wouldn't adore a charismatic psychopathic assassin? But understanding why Villanelle loves Eve is a bit trickier. In this video we explain the evolution of Eve and Villanelle's relationship, and how Villanelle's past plays a big role in her attraction to Eve. This video uses clips from season one of BBC America's Killing Eve (2018), season two of BB...

did AI write this? sure V hates her mother but Eve is nothing like her. a mother figure is someone who's a level above but V and Eve are equals, age does nothing here and V never mentions it, Eve is pretty youthful too and she never treats V as a child, while Anna did treat her as her student sometimes. also what about Eve's charisma and sexiness??

so after you explained everything ye that means she had to shot her okay but why she loves her again, why did she even shot, how does she think she can come back that easily after that and also not even apologizing about it, they are wild love not gonna lie, eve shouldnt have forgave her that easily they only fight for once and after that in season 3 they haardly ever seen each other and suddenly she forgave villanelle? why? then why is she still so mad in season 4? eve why is she so different...my problem is that why villanelle at first place shot eve and didnt even regret shoting her, she just walked away, how can you tell she loves her. she didnt even ask if eve was still alive, she just go away, she had not proof that eve was dead, who told her this lie? well ofc eve stabbed villanelle too but you could see how much pain she was when she did it how much she regretted it right away and tried to help her, im not hating on anyone, not eve or villanelle love both of them so much, but just there are some things that im so confused of, like really tho...eve has done so many bad things to villanelle too, take her to prison stab her but just villanelle shottiing eve was most heartbreaking to me...i didnt get season 3 at all or season 4...kinda messy? yk like ye...their love confused me not gonna lie, loved each other but didnt want to see each other? it confuses me so much why did eve forget about getting shot by her so easily, just one fight and it ended, she kinda started discovering about her again? and after that when she would meet her it was like she wanted it, she wasnt mad about her anymore, something changed so fast?

I think it may be that we often see many young lesbians obsessed with older women on the Internet. There are many fan accounts of middle-aged actresses created and managed by young lesbians. These days trends are usually created by the younger generation, so maybe many film and television production teams want to make middle-aged actresses have more challenging roles and gain the attention of audiences of different generations

Villanelle threatened to shot Anna because she emotionally abandoned her like everybody else. This is also why Villanelle shot Eve at season 2 finale. Basically she never had anybody who truly ever loved her, this is part why she does what she does. She's been forcibly emotionally sterile because she keeps finding herself in the same abandonment complex loop her whole life. Basically, yes, "mommy issues" to sum it up.

@@tundravarg3525 Anna did it cause she knew she'd been replaced. I would've love for Anna to ask "Is it Eve?" Or having to listen to Oksana Villanelle gush over her new crush at gunpoint would've been a work of art. Eve's emotional abandonment of Villanelle wasn't without reason. And those reasons were swept under the rug never to be addressed again.

If someone found you endlessly fascinating, the way Eve thinks of Villanelle, your interest would definitely be piqued. Lol. Eve also sees Villanelle with a certain lack of judgment, something which Villanelle might be craving. Eve knows her truth but understands, that can be very liberating, Villanelle doesn't have to lie, pretend or hide anything. The worst of the worst is already known to Eve. There's any number of reasons Villanelle would find being around Eve intoxicating. But it's mainly because she's the centre of the relationship. As she herself told Eve - 'Don't talk to me like that. Don't forget, the only thing that's interesting about you, is me.'

No hate to you or your video, but overall people need to stop calling Villanelle a psychopath without knowing what an actual psychopath is. She isn't a psychopath. Low functioning sociopath maybe. If that. But definitely not a psychopath. Two very different things. I know the show itself threw the "psychopath" word around a lot to try to describe Villanelle because at first glance, that's what it looks like. But as the show progresses and you get to understand ViIlanelle as a character more, her story, and yes. her emotions. You realize she's much more complex than that. For starters, one of the biggest differences between sociopathy and psychopathy is the fact that psychopaths are simply born like that. They don't need trauma to make them that. Sociopaths on the other hand are created by their environment. But even then. People who have ADP have a very low level of emotions. Psychopaths don’t have any kind of emotional responses to thing or empathy for that matter. They simply mirror people and their emotions. But can't feel any of their own. Whenever they do show emotions it’s simply to mimic or manipulate. But as the story progresses, you see Villanelle having genuine emotional responses to many things. Like in Amsterdam when she’s watching through the window, waiting for Eve to show up to the crime scene just to see Eves partner instead. She was clearly heartbroken by that. So much so that she goes out to a club, takes a bunch of pills and almost kills a girl. Then the next day she’s visibly falling apart while staring at herself in the mirror. When she sees that Eve is her next target. She grieves and asks a hotel employee to comfort her. If she was a psychopath she would just mercilessly do the job and move on. On episode 5 of season 3 when she goes home to finally deal with her trauma she faces it head on. Specifically her relationship with her mother. She’s clearly in search for closure or peace of mind. But because she doesn’t find it she handles it the only way she knows how by setting the house on fire with her own mother inside. She does in fact spare her brothers lives though because she does care about them. But that train ride home? You can visibly see her trying to hold back tears and her overall emotions. You can see how much pain she’s in. She tries to suppress it because that's all she knows. If she was truly a psychopath she would have been fine. Her moms murder would have been like any other kill. But the next day. She’s crying besides the bathtub looking at the ceiling helplessly trying to understand her own emotions. Next episode. More tears. She cries quite a lot from half of season 2 on for someone without emotions. Let’s not forget how Villanelle has a tendency to act like an innocent child on many occasions because of the fact that she was denied a normal childhood with an overall very rough upbringing. Dasha trained Villanelle from a young age and basically constructed the “perfect killing machine.” Which suggests that she only kills people because she doesn’t know a different reality. Because it’s her job or to get people out of her way. Or even when people are between her and Eve. But overall, throughout the show, especially near the end you see so much personal growth and change in Villanelle as a character. Psychopath can’t change or be cured. Villanelle on the other hand doesn’t want to kill anymore because she just doesn’t see a point and wants to leave that part of her life behind to start over. Whatever that may mean for her. Which we will see more of in season 4. So yeah, taking all that into account, you can understand my problem when people try to suggest that she is a psychopath when she in fact is not.
