I'm setting my Tamarack up now for Spring. Did you mount your transducer for the Garmin inside the hull on the keel?
I put in in the kneel. There's a hole under the KAYAK there. I wedged it in there with some waterproof glue.
Not hating but I believe your seat needs to be flipped, your sitting on the back part and your back is where you should be sitting on! great video.

I ordered mine should be getting it next week. Ordered the parts to do some upgrades too. I'm in the same boat never been on a kayak before so it'll be a learning experience. Question for you where do you tie off your anchor to? I don't want to drill holes for the trolley system.
AWESOME, AWESOME your going to love the KAYAK. For the money your getting a very decent KAYAK. Lifetime did a great job on this one. I tie the anchor rope to a carabiner then hook it to the pad eyes.
