Currently, as of today, this particular bus (which is now 6946 in the fleet) is still in use, along with 6945 (formerly 553), and 6948 (formerly 557). 6947 (formerly 556) seems to be withdrawn, and 550 is already withdrawn, and possibly scrapped. Also, 6949 (formerly 106) is also still in use. It is likely that they are eventually going, however, they may be still used by Metrobus when they take over the Copthorne garage and Southdown's vehicles and routes next month, at least for a short while, before eventually retiring them.

It could follow route 25s way to Holborn from Aldgate and just continue from Holborn to Tottenham Court Road and n242 can go the way it goes but further down from Tottenham Court Road or the normal 242 will just be a short shit route
