    Do you have the Raawcon pole adapter? If not, highly recommend it. Makes settup a forward fold annexe alot quicker and easier. Along with caribiners fitted to the end of the 3 main poles into the camper instead of the silly hooks on the ends. Back in 2009 we explored that area, caught big bream in the river.

    Hi, good job on doing that track in 2 days. I’m doing it 8th September. When did you go? Did you sleep in your hammock? Where there always trees in all the camps to hang from? Was the ground ok to put stakes into the ground? What were your night time temperatures? I see the days were super hot, just not sure about the nights.

    • @wildworldadventures
      @wildworldadventures 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hi and thanks for the comment. I think we did it in October and it was super dry as you would have seen. You can always find a spot to hitch up a hammock but we used the tent that time. Temperature at night was hot from memory and we usually only have a summer sleeping bag with a liner if it does end up getting a little cooler. Just ask the local ranger station on the condition of the track. We are used to hot weather and tough tracks but an amature could have easily run into trouble here. The track is not always easy to find and getting lost is a real possibility. The waterfalls were super nice on the end. I'm sure you will enjoy it. Have fun

  • @scale2tail
    @scale2tail 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

    We just bought a new hybrid fully off-road caravan. I'm still confused about the load configuration. I have been told all heavy items should be on the floor over axel. 60% towards the front and 40% towards the back. I still get a little sway, especially when its windy. I also have 2 spare wheels at the rear of the caravan. 2x 120 ltr tanks. Its hard. But we will get there. Fantastic video. Your channel is fantastic. I'm looking forward to downsizing my boat and getting my ute canopy setup on my colorado. Well done 👌

    • @wildworldadventures
      @wildworldadventures 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks for the comment, the weight ratio sounds right. As long as you have enough weight on your towbar it's fine. Sway from wind is normal too. I would recommend getting your wheels balanced as this is not done from the factory. Happy travels

There’s too many out there gamifying their travels. Us old timers appreciate honesty and integrity and experiences. We have a camper trailer too but a different brand and have just started taking our grandkids with us. We look forward too every school break now. Keeps us young. Along time ago i was in a similar predicament, very remote, I luckly had a tube of urethane(not silicone) and i took tyre off and open up hole put a big mushroom patch on inside to outside of tyre, let it cure for couple day put it back on trailer. I wore that tyre down to depth gauges (15yrs) not a leak ever. I still carry a tube of urethane. Its more versitile than silicone.
