      Yes, CSSL is a protected leave that preempts any attendance policy prohibiting the leave.

    Being treated as if you have a disability (preventing you from working) is a “protected class.” When you suffer an adverse action from your employer because they think you are a threat EXCEPT you are naturally, passively, or vaccine-induced immune, then your employer has to medically and objectively show that you are a threat to yourself or others. How are employers going to prove one type of immunity is better than the other especially when breakthrough cases are occurring, booster shots are needed, and vaccine-induced immunity wanes. My employer can have my SARS-CoV-2 antibody test to determine immunity and then they can test every employee for active infections. Treating people differently based on vaccine status is BS!
