From Charming Streets to World Famous Surfing | Discover Ericeira, Portugal
After exploring the Algarve for a few weeks, we headed up to Ericeira, which we had always heard a lot about. Ericeira, Portugal is a very popular surf town about 45 min northwest of Lisbon and was Europe’s first (and only) World Surfing Reserve. However, it wasn’t the small surf town I was expecting. Unlike some of the other surf spots we visited in Portugal, I would recommend people visit Ericeira even if they aren’t into surfing. It was a charming town, with great food and plenty to do. The coast north and south of town is also stunning with miles of trails to explore. That being said, it also was a fantastic surf destination!
Enjoy!

Unique Town in the Algarve | SAGRES, PORTUGAL
มุมมอง 8683 หลายเดือนก่อน
Sagres was our first stop on a 6 week travel around Portugal. We stayed here 2 weeks, surfing, hiking, and enjoying the raw beauty of the Algarve. This is a perfect place if you want to be immersed in nature and surf and hike. Although it's a small town, there is still a lot of cool coffee shops, surf shops, and good restaurants. Exploring this area has been one of my favorite times traveling i...
Perfect Day In Lagos, Portugal | Charming City & Surf Vibes
มุมมอง 9025 หลายเดือนก่อน
Our trip started with a bus from Málaga to Faro, where we rented a car and drove to Sagres. While staying in the Algarve for two weeks, we drove to many different surf spots, but one of our favorites was Lagos. This was because you could find some peaceful surf, while also getting to explore a beautiful, charming city. Being able to talk over to the main town center after a surf and visit the c...
Remote Surfing in Playa Hermosa | Costa Rica
มุมมอง 3926 หลายเดือนก่อน
While staying in Santa Teresa and Mal Pais, we would take motorcycle and scooter trips around the Nicoya Peninsula. Some of our favorites days were when we would rent a scooter and head north up the dirt road, through the forest, to Playa Hermosa. It's a remote surf spot, with only a couple surf shops, cafe, and a small market. The perfect place to get away from everything and enjoy the waves. ...
Montezuma Waterfall & Motorcycle Adventure | Traveling Costa Rica's Nicoya Peninsula
มุมมอง 1708 หลายเดือนก่อน
One of the fun parts about traveling around the Nicoya Peninsula is how rough it still is. Although it’s a popular tourist destination, it’s still a very remote area and a lot of the roads are still dirt and mud. Traveling from Santa Teresa to Montezuma on a motorcycle was an adventure in itself. We travelled through little villages and across multiple rivers and streams to get to the town of M...
Ultimate Costa Rica Getaway | Surf, Yoga, & Ice Baths in Santa Teresa

My wife and I spent 5 weeks around Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. We originally planned on traveling more along the coast, but kept extending our time and staying in different areas around Santa Teresa. Through surfing, yoga, and ice baths, we found bliss in this community. The incredible nature with remote beaches and lush rainforests, and the compassionate people made our time here unforgettable. ...
Surf & Discover Beautiful Tamraght | Morocco
มุมมอง 6Kปีที่แล้ว
After exploring the beautiful, vibrant, and chaotic medina of Marrakech, we travelled to the coastal city of Tamraght to surf for two weeks. Tamraght is next to the bustling surf town, Taghazout, and is a much quieter little surf town. Our time here ended up being much more than just a surf trip. There is something special about Morocco that is hard to explain. Also, special thanks to Surf Soul...

Apart from having a shity weather, it's nice.
A magic place, I was there two weeks ago. It was super, the waves was so beasty. Cap St. Vincent was so windy. My english isn't very good. Take a look to St. Peter Ording in Germany for kite surfing it's super.
I couldn't agree more, it's a very special place! There is such a good energy there that's hard to describe. I'll take a look at St. Peter Ording, thanks!
Which month did you visit? I can see this was posted in July but I think the waves do not look like it's summer season there :)
You're correct! That was in November 2022.
is it possible to surf there as beginner in july/august?
@@hatorihonzo8118 Yes, definitely! Typically the waves are smaller there in the summer, which would be better for a beginner. My wife was a beginner when we went and some of the days/spot weren't the best for her.
Cool video, which month were you there visiting?
Thanks! I was there mid June through end of July, which is during their rainy season.
how you doing?-very unreal !💥
Thanks, appreciate it!
Hi. I am thinking of going to CR solo maybe next year. Just chill for a few. Would y'all I say CR is a good place to tan? I've been watching Clips on spell chk me tangelo beach. I see nobody out tanning. Weird.
Hi! I would say you’d enjoy tanning there. There were lots of people laying out at different times during the day. It was rainy season while we were there so maybe that’s why you don’t see as many people laying out in my videos. However, even during rainy season there was lots of sun and it was very warm!
Changed so much since 1977.
What's the biggest change you notice? I wish I could have travelled around years ago before a lot of these place were so popular. I would have liked to see what they looked like.
@@AlexKowal Alex, Tarauzought was a dusty little village where the locals sat around with little to do. An enterprising bloke we called Spunky as he always wore an old t shirt with I'm a spunky number written on it would push a wheelbarrow which had a flat tyre from Tarauzought to Ancho Pt. and sell toilet paper, Mars bars etc to the tourists. A motely assembly of Australians, Kiwis and mostly U.K. surfers and hippies. The Poms had it wired as they went down there every year. They stocked up in Ceuta with Johnny Walker whiskey on the way down and used it to bargain with the locals. They were a crazy bunch those Pommies and got Banana Village as we called it all drunk one night. When I look back I realise we were not very respectful of the local culture. The hippies walking around the beach naked must have been very offensive to the locals. Agadir was the place to go shopping at the souk. The Poms got us run out of town for whistling at the local girls in Agadir. We saw Mick Jagger down there sitting at a restaurant with a supermodel one time. Alex, there are so many stories to tell, they may make you laugh or cry ,but the age of the surf camp and surf entrepreneur is upon us and it is not nearly the adventure it was. I still surf and have lived in Noosa Hds. my whole life, nearly 70 now
@@michaelgawthorn9639 just now seeing this... very interesting, I'm sure it was quite the experience, that's awesome!!
I love Marokan girls
nice videos welcome to morocco
Thank you very much! 😃
❤🇲🇦🇲🇦🇧🇪🇧🇪⚘🥛
Great 🙂👍 Morocco is safe just make your back bag on your chest in the crowded souks. Second thing barging, haggling is the national sport in Morocco it's the passion so try to negotiate every price in the old souks without shame just say no lt's normal. Also if some waiter in Jama3 lefna squar try to stop you to show you their menu just say no thanks. Also the same for the hawkers or street vendors. Also you can see some beggars 70 % of them are pro they can earn more than a bank manager per month they addict to it. But if you feel tired, hot or you look for some chillout go to the city of the wind Essaouira city or Assillah city or Warzazet city the holywood of africa so peaceful locale people there. It's so easy to rent a car too like 30 or 40 dollars a day. for information the nord of Morocco is a little cold in janury. In general Morocco is good for travel, rich of culture and safe, ife is not easier like in europe but he do the best of he can. the most civilised city in Morocco for now is Tanger city and tetwan city. Good trip just enjoy every moment and let your imagination fly away every things will be good 🙂. About tips : sneaks charmer or dancers : 2 dollars. Henee tatoe : 5 to 7 dollars. camel ride in beach : like 6 dollars. Taxi cost : 1 dollar for 2 or 3 klm like each 5 mn ride . Eco Extra : Moroccans love to work, but every long period of drought can pushes village locale people into the bosom of begging in big cities, and they may become addicted to this craft without realizing it, unfortunately, especially widows, this kingdom is not rich, for example, like Britain, so that she can support everyone. So, some understanding of the characteristics of society is required

Love the footage! What time of the year was this from (planning a trip there myself)?
Thanks! This was in mid April. We had wonderful weather and loved our time there. Some of the hikes at higher elevation had more snow than expected though, so be prepared for that. Let me know if you have any other questions!
