Shame really as it’s a beautiful old public house with a beautiful fireplace. More likely called the Six Bells as Bell ringers from the Church would practice in the pub with hand bells. Stain glass windows either side of the fireplace are indicative of the Church connection. Thanks for sharing, Roger Dodger. 😃👍

I have subscribed as a viewing patriot of many other TH-cam channels on everything such as Britain's history to farming corn. Most channels have hundreds of thousands up too millions of subscribers. I have only been able to actually follow anyone TH-camr that only had a few hundred followers grow into having hundreds of thousands to millions of followers. I now believe you have potential and I have subscribed and will continue to follow and watch this channel grow. Keep exploring, don't forget to give some of the grousom history details on these forgotten sites and what influence created them. Leave the followers with a positive snippet fact of any good was ever used in these places if any. All of these places are well documented. It's not necessary to give a lengthy detailed history of the place, just the highlights will suffice. This exact place has a dark history as most of those really old historical places do. Some were eventually used as really good places such as hospitals, orphanages, headquarters for war operations during the world wars and probably more. Have fun with it. Now grow. 😊

Nice explore there, yea the place looked spooky from the start. My guess is that the trapped soul of the resident resided on the upper floor. She wanted you out so followed you down to the exit. I use to work here. It is abandoned as HSE closed it down due to the owner not complying with health and safety and he was jailed so it’s been left abandoned. Sad to see but use to have some fun working there

Very cheap to buy back then, and cheap to run. You can still buy new ones though they're pricey these days.
