Im sure the water is very cold and salty hope they are paid extremely well...it could be irratating to their eyes and the chemicals in the water...is not good as well.

You'd think Dubai could afford better costumes for their mermaids. That one's tail is see-through and the next one is clearly wearing a monofin. Get them silicone tails, Dubai Mall!
Every professional mermaid needs to get their own mermaid tail when working at an aquarium, And silicone tails are very expensive

So ...as a aquatic performer myself, you can't go down as deep with a silicone tail. Yeah they look cool, but that's about it. They're not made for a true mermaid performance. Any professional mermaid performer will tell you that that's the worst tail to swim in because you can't do as many tricks. It's easy to judge from the sideline. However, if you just so happen to be the rate breed of aquatic performers who know how to get deep underwater with a silicone tail AND do tricks while at the bottom of the tank WITH that silicone tail, then kudos to you.
