The video was an experiment. The cartoon was for a soft toy that somebody else was designing.

It's interesting to hear about the colour construction and thought processes you have. I suppose it takes a graphic designer's mind to keep the continuity in check. Maybe this time next year you can do a real post from the tropics :)
Thanks Bella, I'm glad it's interesting. :-) I had a little bit of graphic design training when I did an Art and Design foundation course many years ago, but it's mostly instinct. Oh I would love to be in the Caribbean for real! I was lucky enough to go there once on a special holiday.
Wish I was lying on a beach like that too haha - my computer wallpaper is similar so that I can stare at the screen and make believe I'm there. Love your explanation of your comic strip - hope you post some more. P xx
