MEMES - ZEALE and Moneyjaw
MEMES is one of many new jams to come from ZEALE and Moneyjaw. The song pokes fun at the inflated lifestyle these two sober individuals experience on the daily, living in the cuts of Hollywood.
MEMES is made for both playlists and DJ's. It highlights ZEALE's refined and cleverly crafted MC ability over Moneyjaw's Bass House production. It could almost be considered G House if it were more serious.

Why Roland gotta hide so much s*** 😂 that’s nothing you just stumble up on
its too loud there for music
Damn, just realised im watching this on loop with a big smile on my face. This is ace man
@@filevo495 yo! Glad you dig and thank you for being here 🙌🏾
that skin is fire
@@0x2049 thank you! Got this off Etsy from a seller called Trapdog. I would recommend ordering an extra plate from Roland and adding to there. Then it’s easy to swap styles by just changing the whole plate 🙌🏾
You’re the best at explaining the SP! I was travelling in Japan with my SP, watched your video on workflows again and it clicked. After that I made several beats (some good some bad). Thank you!!
@@txbrown_ yo thank you! I’m glad these vids help and hyped you got your workflow down. Also, I make some terrible and good beats too lol. Part of the process. Thanks for being here!
can I use this one for live performances to create vocal layers, putting them in loop together with a playback track? thanks
@@avamiscelano would they be pre-recorded layers or ones you want to record and loop live?
love seeing more moneyjaws
@@KnMinecraftTut he’s the man!
How can i adjust the volume of an individual sample using this method while playing more than one sample at once. Can i select a sample pad without reseting it? Everytime i select a different pad to change the volume, it resets to the beginning of the sample!
Eyooo!! Buenísimo audiovisual Bro

Cool hilarious video, groovy housy sound, great characters... always love to watch ZEALE's contributions on YT!!
@@atmobeat thank you! Appreciate it 🙌🏾
Fire! All on the sp ?!?
@@insanedumpling123 no SP on this one…but gonna remix it on one!

If you want to try this all out but you don't have a dynamic mic, and you have a field recorder like a Tascam or Zoom, you can often use that as a mic by putting it into record mode (even previewing is enough) and connecting its stereo line output into the dual mono inputs on the back of the SP.
Hot tip: when holding down the MFX button to pick from the grid of sixteen effects, you can just press the corresponding pad button rather than scrolling through with the value encoder.
@@Hakucho64 great one! Thank you
Great

Have you ever experienced the " Closing error!" On your MV-1 Verselab
sp404 is shit for making beats. thats the real reason. just use them for sound or live sets
Can you send a link for the purple knobs you got ?
1. Use them everyday 2. Long form would be great
@@DanHaycocks my man! That’s perfect. I definitely have more long format on the way!
yo bro, i don't know where you disappeared to, but you came to me at the right time. i thought for a long time about whether to buy sp, but other tutorials were too scattered and contradictory, i couldn't understand whether it suits me or it's a waste of money, but with your tutorials it became clear to me that i really want to diversify my creative process with something new and decided that i will buy sp for myself. you are very cool, keep doing what you do, and thank you!
@@aegrisomnia7503 yo I really appreciate that. Means a lot to hear some of these vids inspired and helped you. I love the SP, def can be challenging, but I really think the process is valuable because it makes us focus more. It’s dope. Thanks for being here and can’t wait to hear what you make 🙌🏾
Mate! These vids are up there with the best of the best, I'l defo be getting ya a coffee or three. Thanks man
@@filevo495 yo I appreciate that! Glad these vids are helping you. I do love so coffee lol. Thanks for being here 🙌🏾
this is dope
@@musicbyethan yo I appreciate it! Thank you 🙌🏾
Other tips for perfect loops: you can record/resample to an amount of bars with ctrl2. The looper is also neat for that
@@romi9485 great tip! Thanks for adding that to the convo 🙌🏾✅
Fantastic video… you describe every step to the end result. I hope there will be further videos like that on your channel. Keep up the good work
@@romanbachmann8652 thank you so much. Yes I’m currently planning and shooting for my videos like these. I really appreciate you being here and I’m glad this brought some value to you 🙌🏾
Great song, what’s the brand of those cables.
@@dannygalanmusic thank you I appreciate that! The cables are called Candy Cords. You should be able to easily Google and find the retailer. It’s a DJ website that sales them I believe. Thanks for being here 🙌🏾
Hot dam, That’s a rocking track!!!
@@9londoncalling yo thank you! London Calling…that’s a song from The Clash correct?
@@ZEALE yep it is indeed
@@9londoncalling one of the greatest bands of all time. Joe Strummer is that guy 🔥
I'm brand new to the sp... thank you!... you just saved me a huge headache

Great demo! What stand are you using?
@@oconingham thank you! I got the stand from Etsy. There’s a ton of cool 3D printed stands sellers have. Def check it out

@@fxlkpunkrapper easy peasy!

@@fxlkpunkrapper thank for being here. More coming 🙌🏾
insane how many little tricks you have that i didnt know was even a thing
@@fxlkpunkrapper this is def one of my favs. Allows for quick manipulation live!
for some reason this doesn't do anything for me 😢
@@fxlkpunkrapper hmmm, it’s should work. What firmware update is your SP on?
I'll save everyone a lot of time by saying, this machine is not for the person who is looking for a fast and computer short aided way of cranking out songs for streams, it is for the creative musician and producer who enjoys the sometimes longer process of making original art.
@@wildbird78 nailed it! It’s def geared towards creatives who enjoy sinking their teeth into the process, exploring, experimenting, and carving out new workflows. Appreciate your insights! 🙌🏾
@@ZEALE can you use the effects eq, or other effects, from the 404 in your guitar effects chain, as a pedal, and still record the guitar output as a sample on the 404 at the same time? also can you use more than one effects on the 404 in the guitar chain simultainiursly, if possible I guess they would have to be chronological in order
@@toroddlnning6806 great questions! Yes…you can sample in your guitar with FX on and all audio outputs will play back the effected signal. You can technically have up to 5 Fx in a chain (Input FX, Bus 1 FX, Bus 2 FX, Bus 3 FX, Bus 4 FX). Hope that helps, can’t wait to hear how you use this! 🙌🏾
Cool 😎✌🏼 so do you made the one of this „stock sounds / banks“ with the piano etc?
@@domeniquexander_ I haven’t made any sounds for an SP soundpack myself. But I do sample C notes of different instruments to play in Chromatic Mode.

Dnb and dub
@@PiriakaTrackwrecker that would be dope to see on the SP! Share when you do. 🙌🏾
@@ZEALE look up Isola Beats, there's a couple dnb jams I made a couple of Japan trips ago.
@@ZEALE th-cam.com/video/aze-EACdkvQ/w-d-xo.htmlsi=9_S2TcFbA3Xkv5E8 I think this is the first track I ever made on it, but reworked for the setting. A stock sample or two but no shame in my game.
@@PiriakaTrackwrecker this is dope man! Nice work. Love the train vibes too 🙌🏾
@@ZEALE cheers bro! There's a few others on that tip (dnb and dub) with the 404, it was a fun trip. The Sensei Dub mix tripped my mum in law right out, she loved it back in the day. Keep up the awesome vids bro, dipping back into the 404 after stepping away for a minute (life, parenthood, ADHD etc) and your lil clips have been mega useful for relearn and finding new functions. It's such a dark arts beast with a ton of hidden functions (esp compared to some of my other tools) and it was super helpful using your clips to get back up and running.
