Lionel Trains F3’s Reign Supreme
มุมมอง 3.4K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
“Santa” delivered a set of Brand New, Lionel Conventional Classic’s 2343 Santa Fe F3’s from the local hobby shop (with updated glossy shells). Here they are making their maiden run on the layout, along with the ever-present 2355 WP’s and 2333 NYC’s on the lower level. The 2343’s, even with their corrected “glossy” shells still don’t match the original graphics and appearance of the originals fr...
Freshly restored 226E and 2226W tender making its debut run on Christmas Eve 2023
มุมมอง 82110 หลายเดือนก่อน
After a solid year, the 1938 226E and tender restoration is completed. This locomotive and tender were both basket cases when I purchase them. When I received them, the locomotive was hardwired for forward. E Unit completely missing… The socket for the fire box glow was removed. Missing valve gear assemblies, marker jewels, flag holders, Broken wheel flanges on 3 drivers. The whistle was remove...

One area of the layout that has been recently receiving attention is the upper bluff/town area. Hope to make this scene a bit more “finished” over the course of the winter. A few more buildings and then it’s time for scenery.

Turntable & Roundhouse tracks are in service!
มุมมอง 1.5K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
Here’s a brief video demonstrating the use of my 24” turntable. It is powered via a direct drive 12 volt DC motor underneath the table itself, using a 12 volt power supply with a variable speed dial and direction switch. The turntable is an old bowser kit that I modified with help of a friend to accept the aftermarket motor. The decking, handrails, arch and all other details were added and pain...
Lionel Train Layout December 2023
มุมมอง 20K10 หลายเดือนก่อน
The motorcycles are put away for the winter and we’re back down in the basement for the season. Progress has been slow, but a lot has been improved. The retaining wall near the passenger terminal has been worked on quite a bit since last year. The town area on the upper part of the layout is beginning to take shape with new building additions, including a scratch built rendition of one of my fa...
Iron Ore tonnage on the Lionel Lines & Connecting with Helper on the rear
มุมมอง 2Kปีที่แล้ว
Powered by 2 Powered, 1 Dummy Williams FM Trainmasters in Chris Porro’s fantasy “Lionel Lines & Connecting livery. The locomotive on the rear of the train is in-fact powered. We had issues with the couplers on the Lionel ore cars opening while in motion, so we stuck a powered helper on the rear and the issue was resolved. So in theory, you can say this was a legitimate helper service move.
1996 Honda CR250 after rebuild
มุมมอง 1.5Kปีที่แล้ว
A short video of my freshly rebuilt 1996 Honda CR250. This bike was purchased in May of 2023 and stripped down to the frame. Engine had a hole in right side case halve. Disassembled the engine, sent the case halves and the rest of the engine parts off to Doug Haas out of Fort Wayne, Indiana for repairs. Reassembled the engine with a new OEM crank, Wiesco piston and rings. The clutch was also re...

Beautiful postwar trains!😊
this layout is so cool. thanks for posting
Very nice layout. Really like the GG1.
Kick starter is almost touching tank. Find an oem knuckle and swap it out and it should fix that
I love to Highball with my Lionel trains!!!!
I`m flabbergasted, heap big smoke and pretty darn hot. SHOEEE!
All my old track is corroded and bad
Love, love your layout. I like my trains to be Lionel postwar from trains to track to accessories and to be displayed as toy trains with just enough bldgs/cars/people/scenery to add context and interest.
You need more videos I love your layout
I just came across this video .... Subscribed!!! 👍
Thank you for sharing! Nice postwar run
Do you have an 0-27 layout as well as the O gauge one?
Lionel postwar trains are bulletproof. The best trains ever made.
Nice layout. Great idea for the station
Very nice
Can this be visited somewhere?
Fantastic layout using old track!
Very nice thank you for letting us see this in your home@!
How big is the layout. I really like the two levels…..
fun
Runs like new! Beautiful!
Sweet engine what a smoker
Classics!
Sweet
this is an amazing layout. I wish I had the room to make something like this. totally cool. Thanks for posting.ustsuj I just subscribed to your channel. Take a look at mine but it isnt close to yours
Sweet triple! Is that a Berkshire 736?
Fun looking layout.
Was wondering which track you are using and which specific turnouts you are using to make your rail yard ?? I’m working currently with Menards track and looking for switches that match up to make a rail yard
Another great video.
Nice❤
Harrison! TRAINS! Coming along nicely.
Great layout! Thanks. 😊
Thank you for posting this. Pure toy fun!
Its not easy to get a good look at them when they're going a scale 100 mph.
I love the F3's! Great show!
Looks like a lot of fun. When I was a kid, I thought smoking locomotives were kind of hokey. Now, 65 plus years later, I think they are great. haha Still love my A-B-A NYC F3s. Nice to see yours actually running and stretching their legs.
Very nice.
Anybody know if that bridge can be converted for American Flyer use?
Thanks for the description
Why do most Lionel owners run their trains at a scale 100 mph? Is that what they did when they were boys?
Trains running at a scale 100 mph.
Nice layout and collection! I have that Burlington passenger set, it is my favorite
I feel sorry for the passengers on that train. It's got to hurt like hell being slammed from one side of the train to the other going around those curves so fast. 😂
Great layout!
Every train looks like it's going 100 scale miles per hour.
Wow, love the layout. Would you consider sending me your track plans? I see lots of echoes of the famous Lionel showroom layout from 1949, including the elevated dogbone. Thanks for sharing. I particularly like the "sunken" staging yard with the 5 or 6 tracks for engines and consists.
You can't go wrong with postwar lionel. Old school at it's finest. Great layout. Love it
Awesome. Looking forward to seeing updates & new videos.
Why do Lionel, and American Flyer owners, tend to run their trains at 100 scale mph?
COOL.
