All that kill switch does is sever communications by whats probably a relay switch. Be aware that relay switches can be bypassed with magnets.

I used to have a good security system in my jeep, back in Socal. Had glass break sensors, tilt sensors, occupancy sensors, backup battery, a second alarm for when the alarm got cut or the battery got disconnected, a dummy alarm module to keep people from trying to find and rip out the alarm, and a keyless fob that you had to put in the ashtray to start it. Someone stole the entire alarm system and left my jeep. THEY STOLE THE ALARM. I HAVE NO IDEA HOW
