Fellas I’m all for a canyon run but you have to know that road the like the back of your hand and have a car in front of you by a quarter mile to tell you when’s someone’s coming up or don’t do this at all don’t put others at risk cause of your inexperience.

Cornered too fast, hits breaks inside turn to reduce speed, causes car to understeer, he steers hard right to compensate, now car oversteering, barely dodges motorcycle, driver attempts to correct oversteer by hard left steer, car oversteers again into mountain as he is correcting that steer again. Props to the driver for destroying his car rather than the moto's life. Would have gone to prison and killed someone. Lesson: reduce into correct speed before making the turn to hit corner quickly. Avoid hard driving around others in case something hits the fan

I've lost control like that while a motorcycle was too close to my lane as well. Thankfully I was able to get control enough to not completely wreck. Needless to say that motorcycles need to maintain their upper body on their own side of the lane or things like this will happen.

Lesson of the story is; if you don't know the road, don't feed on power mid way through a corner. The tightening radius caught the guy out when on coming traffic came and he was drifting out onto the other side of the road

he engaged the oversteer drift with braking and shouldnt have let go of the gass but throttled it with counter steer for a nice drift

This road is commonly ridden by motorcyclists and going over a double yellow is completely unacceptable. I'm glad he crashed, hope he didn't have full coverage and had to buy a beater to driver after this.
