To access unavailable bosses with Maria/Richter either use main story ID change (00/01/02) or utilize glitches - in this particular case double jump kick. Don't remember details by now, haven't played this mode in years. As for rebalancing that's something I have no interest in. I want to play as villain characters and fight against protagonists, that's the most enjoyable. Either version of Maria Mode is fine to me, as players have proper access to her moveset, she isn't antagonist character with separate unique and better quality True Evil Version to which player version is always inferior. Maria mode getting way too much undeserved backlash, especially PSP version. And that's absolutely laughable considering how pathetically lazy and low quality mode Richter have - filled with bugs, limitations and without a proper final enemy - player character Alucard. Player generic cliche "hero" Richter is low quality fake, True Richter Belmont is amazing villain.

Use this AoB with a memory editor like Cheat Engine or similar to find main character block 00 63 68 72 30 30 30 30 00 and browse memory, data is self explanatory just by character names. Don't have the game anymore so no details I remember by now lol Been a while.

AoB's length as mentioned on the site. Check it for Shiva, take character with equal - simplest way. Edit it to match what should be for the boss, if difference is small. If difference is big, use hot keys to swap a character through full AoB with a single custom button. Also for Shiva you will need to enable clone ally function, besides custom input to properly use them, and optional setting is their activity time (how long they exist, or permanently).

Well, act freely definitely allows her to do whatever. Hence I'd always use direct control over party members instead. Come to think of it, back in 2008-2009 when I played OG P3 that CPU ally system was extremely annoying to the point I've played through many boss fights solo, because making strong persona was much more convenient than depend on AI party members lol

Well, as mentioned by official devs, there was a turk related scenario planned for Remake already, that got cancelled. Maybe Wutai Corneo chase will be properly utilized this time, who knows. But that game is infested with QTEs and parry cut-scenes that interrupt flow of gameplay ever couple of seconds. And there's only one type of scenes for this battle, so Guts without armor will be the one pushing Grunbeld all the same ( imgur.com/a/7pOk0y9 ). There's absolutely no alternative to that. I like how in Musou game everyone can have anti-stagger, so I can enjoy playing as Serpico and tanking Guts. It's much easier to remember good things that Musou game have...while for PS2 game it's lacking basically everything that could make it enjoyable, starting with characters having their own story stages...

Been little busy with IRL stuff, summer season gets tiresome when people at the office swapping out on vacations making those at work doing double or triple job amount. Outside of that Bluestacks was more than enough to occupy my free time with Peak Of Combat (much better Vergil than garbage we had with DMC3), Tales Of Rays (finished offline mode data transfer, so I'll be able to play it in the future), Brave Exvius (gonna EOS this year too, so I'll play with Seph/Angeal/Genesis more while it's possible).

It's worth to note that new content was added, like Nelo Angelo form, but even then I'd prefer no helmet angelo and hair down costumes instead of that black vest, let alone that sparda make up thing. Gameplay wise it's even worse. Ultimate Cut could just require fully charged devil bar, akin to that explosion transformation thing. And then why "Play As Boss" even need to be "balanced"? It's unlockable mode that you have to buy through a second copy of the same game. Where is proper battle against Arkham with Dante as ally? All the content for this already in the game. I don't want to waste my time fighting against "Red Vergil" thing, I wanna kill Dante. I mean I'm taking Vergil's PoV or what? There's barely anything enjoyable in Vegril with partially locked moveset slapped on standard stages... Just random example - I've never played Zelda franchise (single playable characters kill games), but I'd gladly buy not just 70, but 140$ game, where I can play as it's main villain properly, destroy that Trash-Protag Link for good with unique gameplay, cut-scenes and stuff. Gacha in free mobile games? I already had NG+ unlocked by the time I started editing this game. But overall there's no need to load up a fight against NPC to see his/her data in the game's memory, never happened to me. UPD: unless you directly want to copy stats like HP, ATK, DEF etc. Simplest way to see those would be by finding unit's HP through decimal scan as you deplete it by player attacks.

The character data (stats, coordinates, etc, were easy to find) I found the addresses which allow me to enable the characters in the party (from Cloud to Sonon), but I can't understand what are the fields I need to replace with Sephiroth's. Cloud and the rest of the PC characters have more addresses compared to the NPCs and I can't find what it looks like "Unit Data". I would show you a screenshot of what I've found but I can't do it on youtube. , Sephiroth for example has just info about the AI and reference to transformations and attacks I think, but nothing regarding his unit. I don't know if you use Discord or similar, I could drop you a message when I am away from work and in front of the PC, but I doubt you have time or will.

Use a memory editing program like Cheat Engine or Art Money to find units's block in game's data. Simplest way would be starting with HP through decimal scan. Browse memory and seek around. Been years ago, so I don't remember details by now lol

I haven't played PS2 Shino games, so no idea. I've only tried some custom stages from PS2 to PSP back then (chanbara-de or something like that was the site). But portable Shino title itself doesn't have Garden system, so I never tried it. Come to think of it, I got Shino on PSP because Zaji was on the box, not Goh lol

Changing character value alone isn't enough, you also need the controls to work - check game mode IDs.

Use memory editor such as cheat engine to find the value of game's mode, bosses from Revenge Mode use separate value which you need to be applied to be able to use them. You can scan right at title screen - 1 byte value will be fine. Start with unknown initial scan, switch between several modes with changed/unchanged or increase/decrease options. I don't remember exact values by now (been years ago), but it's pretty obvious like Boss Revenge Mode uses higher value than Story Mode etc...

There should be mods for it, but I don't know any because it's not something I'd ever be interested in. PSX version of SOTN as it's the worst possible version - Saturn have new content, while PSP version have dual audio to play with native Japanese voices. I won't ever go back to psx SOTN.

Absolutely! Although I'd not bet on it - insane protagonist fanboys (of Sora in this particular case) gonna cry Bloody Tears ™ in case KH game will ever get a Boss Revenge Mode like Bloodstained ROTN or a proper villain scenario akin to Square Enix's Kingly Clash in FF15 or Odio chapter in Live A Live. Although recently I've seen some YT recommendations regarding emulator related stuff for 358.2, so who knows... maybe SE will notice community's interest in multiplayer mode similar to what that game offers, hell there's even a PvP possibility.

I do think our chances are optimistic of having him as a team member in a future game at the very least, since the story in KH3 set up a major hook with Lea and Isa being key players in the Subject X plot. He’s hanging out on Protagonist Island at the end of KH3 and I don’t think that’s insignificant. I think most of the Organization in general have ceased to be “villains” at this point in the story, which makes having them as allies seem a lot more feasible going forward. Either way, I would really love to see a return of something like Days’ mission system that let you play as a ton of different characters again. KH has a ton of characters with very fun and varied fighting styles, and it’d be an absolute treat in a fluid battle system like KH3’s

Well, since KH3 already made 3+ party members into standard feature, having Twilight ice cream quartet instead of Destiny Island trio definitely sounds like a possibility. Although that'd require quite the effort like BBS on steroids.

Considering we already got that FF versus 0.5 thing with KH3, I suspect huge amount of screen time will be given to Pseudo-Noctis and his crew in KH4. Nomura still can't let go of his old concept even after all these years. With all of the above as a priority, we may not see many current characters, although potentially this may mean that Riku or Kairi can be player PoV in the main universe (sadly that's not mean playability just like it was in ReMind lol). It definitely would be a huge waste to not use Axel since he can be a keyblade owner. Which kinda drags his Twilight Team along, but they would require separate properly made story arc...

This is undub edit obviously, but I only care about battle voices. Not interested in Evo related non-battle dialogue. Portable versions of Sky FC/SC also have undub edits for battles. Loewe's dub voice is especially low quality lol

After that import NPC over Ash with this tool www.romhacking.net/utilities/848/ 3. With that done, your NPC will use Ash`s line of files, instead of own. So you will have town anim set + all battle styles availible for editing. Styles are files, like this - 00_BT1.SEQ 4. Copy & clone styles your NPC have in places of Ash`s styles (01 - knife, 02 - sword, 09 -crossbow, 0A hand to hand etc). You can use that tool or CD mage for styles import. That type of content would be great for any game. Metal Gear PO and 4's online mode were best things in the franchise. Being forced to play as Snake got boring and stale years ago lol Now playing as Liquid Ocelot and killing Old Fart Snake... that is a biggest joy one could ever had in MGS franchise.

I consider MGS2 to be the best of the main 3 MGS titles. Although it's easy to understand hate towards the game due to false marketing (some people claimed back then there even were screenshots of Snake outside of his chapter during game's promotion), not only Snake is playable as is, updated version of the game added new mode for him and various training stages. It's similar to hate towards Nero during OG DMC4, despite Dante was playable character there too. Just insane protagonist fanboys basically lol It feels like Vagrant is pretty much forgotten officially sadly, which is weird. I'd prefer full remake akin to FF7R or Live A Live R - with updated graphics and of course new content, there's so much content in the game that never got used. Outside of that with modern emulators you can make the game look way better than it's supposed to.

Hello there, I'm playing on PC with memory editing through cheat engine. Not using any codes, as there's no need. ROM of the game isn't edited. You'll need to assign custom buttons for additional actions like handstand. Units can be edited through their data block, which you can get through finding character's health (just increase-decrease scanning with unknown start). Also I'm interested in making custom battles, especially in fighting against protagonists and kicking their @sses - for example beating up Axel as Shiva.

I'm playing on PC with keyboard, which I use for custom inputs. Cheat Engine is a tool to edit game's RAM (memory). This have nothing to do with IPS patches. How would you go about beating. protagonist Axel as Shiva through custom battle? I've never seen anything like that properly implemented in a patch to properly take Shiva's PoV. Well, it's worth to remember small non-linear part of the OG FF7, where in case Wutai quest with Turks was finished, there would be an option to cancel final fight against Reno/Rude/Elena. So far in Rebirth Turks are already used as guest CPU allies despite we haven't seen Wutai as of yet. Basically Turks taking the place of the dead avalanche members who were like that in Remake. Maybe 3rd game will offer playable episodes for Turks, time will tell. It could have been a good alternative back then, but now we already got extended official content - thanks to Octopath COTC X LaL event we know, that Streibough is strongest Dark Lord, and he defeated Oersted's dark form easily one on one. And Odio is separate entity that calling out inner evil in various individuals similar to Jenova in FF7. Event ends with Oersted returning to his timeline, hinted to having flashes of his future. So potentially with this in mind story could take completely different turn. Also Oersted was one to break the curse on princess, so LaLR's localized script is completely false.

It could have made interesting shift to ClassicVania gameplay wise. Also definitely reminded me of DMC4 with it's switch from Nero to Dante back during the OG version.

Honestly my favorite version of Ralph/Trevor is one from PS2/Pachislot where he just attacking player character without even bothering about details (explanation part follows after). It's like bull and a red carpet situation lol First one to ever beat the count definitely was a pretty brutal guy.

Также стоит упомянуть про шуточную концовку, где Фолкнер использует иную броню от Мадока. Солярис же оригинально принадлежал Саваро, за него поиграть прикольно.
