Inspired by this video. I'll build a list of workflows and use cases for an EA to do and automate all of it.
This is good, I know it might be counter intuitive, but I what I would do is still send the report via email to myself. That way it doesn't disappear in slack after 30 days since I'm using the free version only.
Thank you so much for this AI Agent Build!
having some issues with extracting dates from pdfs. works 70-80% of the time but can't figure out how to resolve the others - is my AI prompt inadequate?
have you tried a more advanced AI model? see if 3.5 Sonnet or O1 can do it
Another great build with me session. I missed this one unintentionally, is there a way to subscribe to all future sessions?
Thanks for the feedback! We will try to announce all sessions via the Relay.app newsletter, on our TH-cam channel here (subscribe if you haven't!), and also from our company LinkedIn and Twitter handles.
This is such a great workflow - but mostly excited about the potential to easily add these AI agents to any workspace..!!
Nice tutorial for a useful workflow!
glad you found it useful! any requests for the next one?
I followed step by step but when doing a pilot it says '' unable to browse the internet or access the real data from external websites'' do you know what could be the issue?
Sorry about that! The product has changed a bit since this demo. Now you should use the "AI extract from website" dedicated step
Well, that didn’t work.🤨 Did everything exactly the same, the error would appear on Step 2 saying “I don’t have access to external databases like LinkedIn to perform searches or retrieve specific LinkedIn URLs.” Any idea what is going wrong?
Okay, I actually switched to Gemini AI, and it worked! Not perfect, but working.
@@mariacortes4985 hi! can you make sure that you "attach" the search results from step 2 to the AI step in step 3? You'll see an attach button just below the prompt area in the AI step.
GOOD VID. THANKS FOR THE INFO, CLARIFIED SOME LIFE FOR ME
Didn't know that there's an AI clarifier step. Thanks for the new use case!
New feature 😊
Amazing, i use Perplexity for better searchs with sources but is amazing to scrap Linkedin Profile in complement. Thanks for this !
This is really useful, but I wonder if you could add some type of caching since it's not uncommon to meet with the same people several times while working on a project or closing a deal, etc.
really good point! if you have a CRM of some sort, it would be easier to add a lookup (or maintain a database of who you've met in Notion). I'll add that to a v2 video :)
Interesing!!
Great build buddy. AI agents are so powerful, people just have to learn to build massive systems with them.
Oh cooool, from my end I can take this AI Agent for hiring new team members.
that's my next demo video :)
Hi Jacob I'm curious in this case why an AI Agent solution is better than a script that could achieve the same result ? For example, a simple python script could generate unique codes and check the database if it exists. What's the benefit of the AI Agent solution? (Is it about being no-code friendly?)
Yup, writing a python script is not a viable option for many people :)
Can AI find a date in a document and change it to a different day
the AI won't be able to edit the pdf, but can definitely offset the day if you need to do any calculations
Key question: Is it structured or unstructured invoice data
from our testing, it works well for both
not true title
Nice! Seems simple enough with your app.🤓
Hey man thanks for doing this. I would suggest to explain the steps in between each trigger more in depth for people who are unfamiliar to the platform. Its a lot of guesswork to figure out how you got from point to point. The platform looks and uses amazingly though.
Really good feedback! There's a more detailed breakdown of each step in the Gallery listing www.relay.app/gallery/linkedin-profile-finder and we're working on a one-click importable version. In future videos, I'll be sure to go through the details more carefully as well
Hi. I'm looking for a similar solution however instead of to add a doc into Drive, I receive gmail messages where I want to extract a part of the text to transfer to Sheets. Is it possible do it ? Any recomendation where I get support to built it ? Thanks in advance
Definitely possible! You'd set up an "email received" trigger, followed by an AI extract, followed by Add Row in Google Sheets. Feel free to email support@relay.app if you run into trouble.
@@relayapp Thanks for your repply. I already have created an exclusive account at Gmail to receive the emails. Now I will learn how to use "AI extract" into the flow !
Our invoices typically come with external links to .pdf files rather than having them attached to the e-mail. How would you go about having the ai follow the link to extract the data?
Hi! You can use our "Get file from URL" Utility to help accomplish this. First, you would extract the urls, then you would use an iterator to iterate over each URL. Within that iteration, you'd get the file and run any additional AI extraction you need.
Still amazed how easy this app is for us old dogs. (61)
Mines running fine but I can’t seem to get it to give me the time, it will pull the date out every time and has actually done the time once or twice but recently has not. The date on the PDF is like this. 12/28/2024 08:00 EST
Hi @BrettinFLA, A couple of suggestions: 1) you could try with a more advanced model like GTP-4o or Claude Sonnet 3.5 2) you could add "additional instructions" to give the model more information on how to pull out the time Feel free to email support@relay.app with an example if neither of those work
I just tried this. unREAL. This is a gamechanger.
1:35 - wow... this product has SO MUCH potential for me as a solopreneur. #BestThingSinceSlicedBread feeling.
This is tremendous so far. I'm 61 and didn't grow up in a digital world. Can't figure out Zapier et al., but so far this is more intuitive than I suspected it would be.
misleading video title. I dont mind when people do product videos but this is not a how to, it is "hey look at a few thing our app can do".
good feedback! we deliberately tried to title this one "I did X" rather than "how to do X" (like most of our other videos), but will definitely focus on deeper tutorials going forward
@relayapp I think you got it wrong. It's not for those who know how to use AI workflow. Those who don't also get confused because they wonder what good will a video of what do if I don't know the how.
@@MaZ-tg7ch I really appreciate this feedback and have been shifting to much more detailed tutorials and "build with me" sessions like this one: th-cam.com/video/rUnvmeWfMkg/w-d-xo.html hope you like that better!
So impactful! And love the shared folder sneak peak as well!!
Nice work. Super relevant.
thank you so much for sharing these workflows! it's awesome and love using Relay!
Glad to hear it's useful! We have lots more good workflows coming
@@relayapp that is so great to hear - I'll be on the lookout
Great value but this would only work with Google Meet though. What about Zoom calls?
My prompt editor also doesn't allow me to format prompts in numbered lists. I also can't skip a line. Am I missing something?
Odd! Could you file a bug with a quick Loom?
It would be really helpful if you included your prompts in the description or gallery page as a starting point. I always have to pause the video to copy.
Good point! We're actively working on this and will have it very soon. For now, you can post in our Slack community and I'm happy to share there.
Good video, but you need to understand that flying through as fast as possible doesn't accomplish your goal of teaching anyone. People who don't know this (and if they did - they wouldn't be watching) - can't go and process the info at the speed you're talking/clicking on things. Some of the things you click on go by so fast it's impossible to reflect on what you did exactly. I think you'll have far better success with your content if you slowed down a bit. You click on an option, wait for a second or two before moving on.
dude your support is super crappy cant get help
what the sigma rizzla
Nice work ^^. Have you suggestion for dowload the transcript of youtube automaticly and add into google drive or another way to use youtube vidéo for make blog post ?
Good question. We haven't figured out a fully automated way to do this based on just a TH-cam URL yet, though you can download a transcript from TH-cam. We'll keep working on this and get back to you.
spent 4 hours on Make and couldn't make it work is this any easier?
Yes, if your webhook scenario is one that can be supported by Relay it’s super simple to set up.
Great! But how would you set it up for the following days to not pull in the same articles as the previous day(s)?
Good question! You could set up a "find step" to check whether that article is already in the sheet before adding it
@@relayapp Right. It's crucial with any recurring automation like this to have a step that also automatically checks to see if the items that are about to be scraped have already been scraped.
@@BrandonHull Yup really good point. Perhaps an even better approach would be to use a proper database like Airtable/Notion that would only let you have unique URLs, unlike a Sheet
@@relayapp Great idea
Amazing! love the app and UI. Super simple and easy to use. Please make a dark mode version. 👊
thanks for the feedback! and for the dark mode request, I will add your upvote to that on our tracking bug :)
Sure! I can help you draft replies to emails in various languages. Just provide the content of the email you want to reply to, along with your desired response, and specify the language you'd like me to use.
Access to "knowledge" is also a big differentiator.
That is seriously impressive! I need to look at Anthropic as well to see about this prompt stuff - that's often the hardest part of getting good stuff out of the LLMs.
your voice kinda annoying, probably because u used throat voice. Anyway thank for the video, no hate, I just got distracted by how you speak.
That's also a pretty good workflow for generating SOPs or documentation from recorded screencasts. Thanks for sharing.
