How many times have I watched this. :(
How long til a full length movie? Heh. Id like to know the outcome! :(
I feel privileged and honored to have worked on this film....Thanks goes to Peter Johnston for choosing me to play the role of , Flora.....
They start, they end. The pain, never ends
What they aren't showing is the reality that most people will go through relationships on and off and nothing is permanent and things are likely to end at some point. But that's okay. It's nice to have someone but even better when you realize you don't need some other half just to feel full. Don't rely on finding that "one" to feel happy... other relationships are important too.
What we need is men honest and brave enough (tough in the old term) to take on the Gov't and big corporations that are deliberately damaging men.
Feeling excited...more data gathering is always welcome
Fantastic film - As enjoyable each time I watch it!
we would if we weren't constantly told how horrible we are just for being born men.
I am young and I can't stop thinking of death what do I do I just want to live life nicely
Emily, are you based in Australia? If so, Lifeline is a great place to start: 13 11 14
Awesome..
Thank you for this. I am left speechless and sitting here examining so many aspects of myself. This is an amazing campaign to save the lives of so many young men who take their lives. I just hope that thousands see it and realize that life doesn't have to be shit, doesn't have to be hard, sad and full of hopelessness.
Thank you thank you thank you! It's about time someone said it. Instead of being told to toughen up or suck it up you guys are telling it how it is. The old stereotypes of the tough as nails Aussie bloke just doesn't quite cut it any more. The number of young males taking their own lives is a national disgrace and should be talked about and a shit load more work and money put in to fixing it. Maintain the rage and keep up the great work
yeah, sure, tell men what to do some more, instead of addressing the root cause of the problem. society raises men to internalize their issues while teaching women to be open and ask for help. it does this blatantly and without apology, and NOW we're telling men to soften up? how about we start treating men like they're not disposable? because, even if a man softens up, it doesn't stop society from telling him to man up again.
Men overwhelmingly dominate unemployment, homelessness, suicide and depression statistics. And yet, to add injury to insult, there still exists a misguided drive for 'female equality'. The reality is the reverse; our gender definitely does not experience the same quality of life.
Im 26 and life sucks. Everything is about to go to shit.. The end is
blame women preference for hard unemotionql men. For some reason telling girls that you suffer depression is a major libido

This video saved me 6 months ago. Things haven't really changed since then but my perspective has, and I'm happier now. So thank you for the touching video! Really gets the message across.
this is good as.
Thankyou for this video..I lost 2 loved ones to suicide(both men) in Jan 2012 and another friend(male) last year..
To those 2 people in the dislike bar, Soften the FK up.
This is great! I lost a very close friend to suicide just a few short years ago. I hope this campaign reaches & changes lives. Keep up the great work.
Cool!
Remember; to watch, see others learn, what really matters, to forgive, stay curious, love, to feel, to appreciate love, your freedoms, the feeling of butterflys, the long walks and to live before you give up on it.
About time. Thank you.
good concept and tag line
I f*cking love this!!!! I'm going to talk about this with everyone I know. Here's to another 100, 000 views.
Where are you guys getting your stats?
This is really great, will be spreading the message for sure!
ill call it O.S.R.O.D.D That relates to ongoing stress related oppressive drugged disorder, thats the disorder psychiatry and mental health give to the community and our kids who mess up with alcohol and street drugs that psychiatry takes over with their drugs with, the deadly oppressive and debilitating psychotropic type.
no big deal they could all be pissed at the pub, its just miserising standard, investigative talk with me as the subject talk, no big deal, seems like normal talk to me, as long as you go and see a psychologist for real answers and real solutions you wont have a problem, go and see a psychiatrist and you've really got a problem, you come away with a tag of mental and ill, or diseased, plus you'll be poisoned against your will more than likely, then you'll really have a problem,
love the campaign
"Reunite" by Isbells! Brilliant song!
What's the track? made the facts break through so well!
Great intentions but there needs to be a more contemporary, hard-hitting version of this to make a real difference.
Brilliant campaign
EXCELLENT video! There are so many pervasive problems with our culture and this is a huge one for guys. We're told we're literally not men just because we aren't perceived as being "tough," or we're perceived as being too emotional, and it's a ridiculous interpretation that just hurts us deeply in the long run. We're all human, so we should break down ridiculous expectations that we should act like something that isn't. We're not machines, we're people and we shouldn't be afraid of that.
Thanks guys, I appreciate the support.
insert .jpg "i know that feel bro"
Ugh. nice intentions.. but Jesus fucking Christ, whose idea was it to use this uninspired tired old cliche of a wank-fest presentation? it's been done to death. It's dry, emotionless, tedious, predictable, forgettable and wildly easy to ignore. Zero impact. Worthwhile message, wasted by insipid hacks.
Thank you for this. Send this to everyone you know.
@margyo68 Just wanted to put a warning to this comment - due to the nature of the comment, if anyone is concerned about the content, please call Lifeline at 13 11 14.
@TheDomLouis Thank you for your kind words, we really do hope to make an impact. None of the men you see in our videos are actors, they're our friends or last minute next door neighbours we roped in, these stories are their own.
Great to see/hear some kind of backstory. But since this is a marketting campaign, I wonder how many of these people are actors and how many this actually happened to. Great cause though. Keep up the great work!
A very worthy cause and a great message of support to put out there... Terrific stuff.
