hi! heres my ultimatum.
so!! tsubakura as a medium to reupload ghost's videos is 2 years old now, and a lot can change in two years. i know i sure have.
and after this time, after some personal development on my end, and especially because of recent events, i'm not sure how much i want to keep my reuploads up. so... for the time being? full transparency.
Every legitimate upload on Tsubakura has been unlisted. Every fake, joke, and unrelated video has been privated. I simply do not have much interest in maintaining this channel any longer.
I recognize Tsubakura contained the most comprehensive listing of Ghost's old content, but others have their own collections, and I'm sure they're at least up to par with the offerings on Tsuba. Nothing should change for any of you, in that regard.
Running Tsuba feels like it's a sunk cost, at this point. I've accepted that we aren't going to get any more substantial new content. Anything we do have is Patreon content I wouldn't feel right uploading, also stuff Ghost has actively seen as worth taking down. I've moved on, by now. I want to do other things. I don't want this channel and the memories and drama attached to it to haunt me for the rest of my career, like they have for the past two years.
In the interest of full transparency, I'm going to go out and say a few things, additionally.
- Oliver Hide & Seek is a FAKE based on half of a famitracker cover.
- The Dreamy Sheep Herder instrumental is a FAKE reconstructed by hand by me.
- The same applies to Number Street's instrumental.
- Black & White 2014 is a complete hoax.
- The "Centipede Remaster" as you know it now, that is, the full-length one, is an elaborate hoax by the remaining members of the original Graveyard. If finished, it would have been accompanied by a full PV, as well, with around seven drawings, give or take. Ambitious, I know. The instrumental and vocals were made by OrgansDotOrg. That is, also, the video you are watching right now. Hi there!
- The PVs for Face Less 2 and Crazy Town 2 are approximate recreations made by me years ago.
- The video for Dreamy Sheep Herder is not actually the original as preserved in the Internet Archive, as that version has a fade at the beginning and end. The video on Tsuba is merely a screenshot of that video.
Sorry if this hurts, like... A lot. To read, I guess. But... I'm not interested in the stress that comes with maintaining an archive like this anymore. I know when to call it quits, and it looks to me the time is now.
This does not mean I'm "leaving the community" or anything, by the way! I will still make English vocal synth songs, same as ever. Nothing should change on the Madotspooki side of things.
Who knows, maybe I'll regret this eventually, but for now this is the best option for my safety, my happiness, and so on.
