Hey there train fans! Welcome to my channel!
I'm a fan of British steam locos and I post short clips of my model trains running by on my layout. My engines are a mix of British steam locomotives from various railways and eras, along with some Thomas and Friends characters I've collected over the years. My layout is largely fictional, taking inspiration from rail lines in the UK and the US.
In my "Shaggy's Models" video series, I give some history on the real-life counterparts of my locos in the video description box. I usually refer to my locos with their name and railway number as one would do with real locomotives (i.e. Thomas would be referred to as NWR No. 1 'Thomas') to add some realism to the trainspotting clips.

Thank you, yeah I totally get you. Hattons had a low international shipping cost, plus they would deduct the UK tax from the sales price for international customers. The trains I got from their second-hand selection would cost a total of about $130 (US dollar) each If you're in the US, Amazon has a selection of new Hornby models. Sometimes they randomly get marked down in price, though you'll have to keep checking. Good luck, hope you find some new locos for your collection :)

I used to have a plane, a helicopter, some cars, and a ship as a kid, but now they're all disassembled and put away in a box with all my other lego pieces
