Thanks; I wanted to know if Xilinx Vivado can run a simulation of a model, without a dev board. This was the first search result, and it (a) confirmed that, and (b) also confirmed my suspicion that the FPGA companies prefer lumping everything together into one monolithic application, instead of smaller modular tools for each job. Currently I'm doing everything with static analysis on paper and pencil, and that needs to change.
