Team 62 Vex Tower Takeover 2019 Early Season Teaser
มุมมอง 18K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Team 62, with some help from Area 51 Robotics and 6671, is proud to present an early season teaser for our first Tower Takeover robot, Lil Caesar. This was initially a Ri3D concept but we loved the design so much we wanted a little more time to tune. Tell us what you think and feel free to drop any questions below! Specs: 4m 300 RPM chassis on 2.75" wheels (equivalent of ~209 RPM on 4" wheels) ...
this team fuelded the memes
What is this Odomentry code every team has this

imo the best reveal vex has to offer
other than yours
Glad to see other teams doing this. First saw this on 62A a while ago. Good job, good video
I just hate this robot, it's the worst ive ever seen
pretty robot
bad robot, hate it
i was paired with this team at worlds and won :D
Glad to see other teams doing this. First saw this on 62A a while ago. Good job, good video. The greatest meme of the TH-cam comment section.
Was hoping to see this here
Very Coolio and all
Today I just competed against Harvard Westlake my team was Washington irving middle school
did they redesign yet
I need to do this for this years robotics and I’m scared
if ur against amogo or a robot like it just tip their alliance goals and they can’t do anything
Can't wait to see you guys at Kalahari
Hi can I get step by step building instructions for each of the ideas so I can build them for the competition this year. I also want all of your code because my programmer is sick for a month until the competition so we can't program our robot. Thanks!
There’s a vexforum post with cad models and coding projects of both bots. Just remember to add your own touch and not copy these designs exactly!
can dogo lift a goal onto the platform without a goal in the mogo?
Is it bad that almost every person on the internet has made a bot similar to yours? Guess it is just a well designed bot. ;)
points?
We will take u down this year null…🥱
Amogus
my team is screwed
Hi...how did you build your raised platform? Does it support weight well to set up the field?
niiii
Is amogo v5 or cortex
V5
Cortex is illegal this year

Do you use PID because our organization is having trouble figuring it out and was wondering if you could lend a hand
Amogus
amogus lmao
Best reveal Ive ever seen. Im a coach. Ive seen a lot of reveals. Thanks very much for sharing. My middle schoolers study your bots. 😉 💫 And now my new favorite song too, lol
no
What did you use to make the cad
Autodesk Inventor
@@unionjackjz thanks
What do u have for position tracking?
How would you get it to pick up more rings?
I have difficulties with opening the CAD files, what should I do?
There's links to Onshape CAD models of the robot in one of the comments of the VEX Forum post if that makes it easier for you. Or, ask on the VEX Forum post in the description of the video, private message the poster on VEX Forum, or ask in the VEX CAD Discord discord.gg/BKV3DJm
@@unionjackjz thank you for the answer!!
What kind rpm that you using
Amogus
amogus bots
how much for the robot
fr lol you could auction it
Nice! Why do you have it start at the edge of the field instead of right next to the mogo?
the miliseconds that that would save isnt worthit because its way easier to get a consistent starting point against the wall.
@@shad4101 gp
How we supposed to beat this 😵
I keep forgetting this game existed. My mind always skips from the cubes to the rings I swear the year in quarantine felt like 2 weeks and nothing happened during it I may have gone slightly mad.
What the dog doin?
what is the point of the piece at 1:00. i have been trying to figure it out but it doesn't make sense
its to grapple on to the bottom of the mogos, the standoff keeps it there. it retracts when the mogo lift is put down. if it goes too fast or smth, the mogo would slide off
God if O end up making it far enough to fight yall, my team is FUCKED
I just graduated from vex, but this is exactly the type of robot I would have built if i was competing this year. I legit wrote like a 300-400 word message explaining something really similar to this bot less than a day after game release. I was starting to think that my idea was bad, but I'm glad that someone else had came up with a similar solution to what I thought.
(lol 5/23) ITZ type of mobile goal lift that can lift up to platform height 1M[otor] CRANBERRY harvester type of conveyer belt 1m[otor] that goes up to the goal(perhaps even has a mech to rotate the goal in place. I didn't know how else to describe it other than "cranberry havester"(message was way longer than this I can post the full brainstorm message if you are curious.)
46 is better
who
Hanzhen harmonic drive gear, over 30 years experience, robot arm gear
does that mean this robot can't be made with a regular team kit?
2 good, needs to be nerfed
Why did I think your license plate was Amogus at first...
👀
sus
My robot named amogus
