I am such a huge scarlet pimpernel fan. Especially of the 1982 version. I know it's all so underrated these days, but if anyone else who loves it comes across this edit, I hope you enjoy it!

so i saw TBOSAS in theaters and of course developed a little crush on Tom Blyth and had to check out his other work. and Billy the Kid is an AMAZING show. it's so well made and acted and actually it's one of my favorite things i've watched all year. I love Billy so much and he deserves all the happiness in the world. (forget history, i need his ending to be changed!!)

Jane and Lisbon had told each other numerous times what they truly felt for one another by their actions and using words with coded meaning without actually saying the three words they wanted to. But neither of them could read between the lines of what the other was really saying . When Lisbon was going to DC she blasted him as only she could saying " ... you don't care about me ..." but what she was really saying "you don't love me". She was hurt , angry and brokenhearted having sacrificed, invested all of herself in him and he was letting Pike take her away when she desperately wanted him to come and claim her. In her mind if he loved her he would have stopped this long ago as she hoped and believed he would . But when he did turn up later than she expected she let him suffer a bit because she had suffered but she could never stay angry with him for long and she got what she had subconsciously wanted which was him and on her terms.

alex <3 such a fab video!!!! i adored the alex rider books when i was growing up even though a lot of the boys i knew gave me shit for reading them when i was a young girl, but started the show yesterday and was reminded of why i loved the books so much haha
