A Newmarket based photographer,
My passion is landscape and wildlife photography and studio portrait photography, and location portrait photography,
Based in Newmarket I've been in the horse racing industry all my working life, developed a passion for photography when my daughters came into my life.
We also have a week on the Norfolk Broads every year, This year (2021) we're fortunate to have two holidays on the Broads. (Covid 19 permitting).

Thank you so much for your really kind comments. Me and my wife fell in love with the Broads a number of years ago. If we can get away for a week on there each year - we are more than happy. We are always telling friends and family to try boating - anyone can do it, Richardson’s ensure you have plenty of info, guidance before you set off Life at 4 miles an hour is great ! Handling the boat, even the larger vessels is so easy and mooring is fine just remember- the slower the better when pulling up to a mooring spot If you have any questions at all before you trip - or advice on boats etc I will be more than happy to help if I can 👍
i love your videos lad, proper and honest and more than informative, im 50 in october, im passed a weekend in ibiza with the lads , so im after a 7 day stint on a boat on the waterways of england, also wanna not be away from my new puppy nelly, so these vids have gave me an insight, and also now got the richardsons site on my favs for booking a holiday. one question, is it easy enough for a boat virgin to drive and park these vessels?? thanks

Hi how long before you had to pump out? We had the boat for a week, the first night had 3 on board, then for 2 nights we had another 4 on board. We took the boat on saturday and by wednesday all our toilets were backed up and filling up. I don't think the tank was empty when we picked it up. Also somehow we managed to go £136 over our fuel allocation. That was a nice surprise when we got back to base.
Hi, we had six on board for seven nights we needed two pump outs during our seven night stay, took on fresh water twice, we never went over our fuel allocation in fact we got money back, apart from your toilet issues hope you had a nice holiday 👍

Lovely walk through. Very helpful. Thank you. Can I just ask the big container on top of the oven is that one of the super dooper freezers.
Hi - you have a fridge, with a small microwave above it in the next section- and a roomy oven above that There is no freezer I am afraid - only a freezer box in the fridge 👍
@@photo-lens1292 Thats fine I can cope with a small freeze box , most things are ok for a few days. Talking Chips and peas, not anything to shout about. The reason for my original question is that my son goes fishing on the Continent. he fishes for the England Team and they take a freeze box just as yours looked and I know it cost an arm and a leg and probably more , it keeps frozen things frozen for a week without power. None of them have come home with food poisoning to date and boy oh boy do like eat well. No beans on toast. Best Steak etc.
Great to find a review of this boat. We are going later this year and this is the only thing we can find on it! Did it have the mobile wifi when you had it? If so would you be able to explain it asim not sure how it works/how good it will be 🙂
Hi - every boat we have taken out from Richardson’s has had decent Wi-Fi There is an on/off switch ( which we tend to leave on ) and they provide you with a password Then register on your phone and you are good to go We have never had a problem getting signals - even when sailing 👍 Hope that helps

Rented a boat from Richardsons called Tweedledum in 1966, on our test drive we were listening to the World Cup final England-West Germany. Always remember that.

Thank you for the video, really helpful. Can I just ask , and if you can recall, what was the freezer box in the fridge like please? Was it one of the little tiny square things or did it go across the top of the fridge. Lovely boat and I can see what you mean about the steps if you had kiddies. Not so keen on going up the steps to put everything on board.
Hi, The freezer in the fridge wasn't very big (as far as I can remember) we only used it for ice cubes, we loaded all our luggage through the window at the back, we had six onboard so a lot of luggage it all fitted through easy, hope this helps if your hiring this boat I don't think you'll be disappointed, enjoy have a great holiday.

We had Swan Roamer a few years back lovely boat they are very similar on swan Roamer it has a jacuzzi bath. Both lovely boats.
