This is a walk around of my buggy innovations cheetah build.
What's the name of the machine you used to remove the material to form the spacer
Where do you by the roll of aluminum what would I need to make 4.5 wide spacer 2" tall with a 3" hole in the middle
You can purchase pieces of barstock the size you need cut to lenght from any metal supplier, then you drill the center hole, and bolt pattern your self, or have a machine shop do it.
A bit late, sick video, what material are you using?
6061 aluminum
What kind of pipe is that
1:12 sorry for not being on point, but what holds the wheel spacer in place, i mean whats the name for that, because at my school we're making little shafts and all, and i just cant find the name for this and i've been wondering about it.
Im gripping the inside of the bore, with the chuck jaws.
Bro how did you attach the bolts onto the spacer (at 6:05 in the video)
They have a knurl that presses into the hole to hold them in.
@@houseofrust4720 knurl similar to the one on wheel hub bolts?
@@tharindusamarakoon8831 they are wheel hub bolts from an auto parts store.
@@houseofrust4720 thanks bro. Do you have a schematic for.this design? Any tips? I'm going to make a set following your video
@@tharindusamarakoon8831 i made these for my specific needs, all four have the same bolt pattern for the studs, but the front and rear are different where they bolt to the hubs. figure out what hole patterns you need, and what studs you are going to use, and go from there. keep them as thin as possible to reduce wear and tear on your bearings.
Did you broach a spline into the hole or did you just press the stud into the plain bore round hole?
You just press the spline into the hole so that it bites into the metal.
Cool, Basic or advanced height control ? What cut height ?
Is a fan necessary? I am just starting out and going to only do small stuff at first, would it be ok just to collect all the overspray without a fan to begin?
You can always add one later if you need to.
First ;)
What size pipe did you use for everything
Would you be willing to sell me a copy of the plans?
I was wondering if you still had your plans for the cheetah mini buggy? I’ve been looking all over for a set of plans and can’t find them anywhere. I will pay you for a copy of the plans. Thank youAnthony
Yes I still have them
Would you be willing to sell me a copy of the plans?
This was cool to watch .... I like to see how machining work is done so this was pretty neat .... This video is uploaded to 360p and is clear ... So it has to be how the others are uploaded ...
Good luck on your videos , but I suggest investing in a better camera .. Subscribed anyway .....I look forward to new videos and getting a peek into your shop to see what you are working on ..
I'm liking in (biggg Wheel Horse fan.) Plan on doing something like this with my B-100. I'll definitely be putting out more W H vids and would like to see more of yours lol Sub for sub ? WH Fan to WH Fan ?
I like it. Maybe one for the 125? Lol
What is this? Are you becoming a daily vloger now?
no. i forgot to make a video of stretching the motor mount for Ryan.
That would of been great.
Looking good !!
