Soldering an ESP32 PCB: Showcasing Skills Despite a Design Flaw
I attempted to design a minimal PCB for the ESP32, but it seems to have some issues-possibly related to power delivery or the EN pin. However, I’m glad to see my soldering skills haven’t gotten rusty! I successfully soldered a USB-C connector using just a soldering iron and used a heat station for the first time to solder the ESP32 chip itself. The results were fantastic.

Desoldering My First Failed PCB Design: RP2040 Board Teardown
Will it work like a real PC monitor? Also make Making video.
Very interesting! What’s the purpose of this? I’ve always wanted to get into making these kinds of projects but never really knew where to start haha
This is the official minimal design example for the Raspberry Pi RP2040 chip. I recently sent this PCB design to the factory and soldered all the components myself. Through this process, I learned everything from circuit schematic design and PCB layout to component assembly and coding. Now, I feel confident to start designing my own PCBs. If you’re just starting out, I recommend beginning with the Raspberry Pi Pico, which is a minimal implementation of the RP2040. After familiar with it, Time to start make our own PCB, follow the “Hardware Design with RP2040” document, which includes a KiCAD PCB project. This is exactly what I worked on here. You might encounter challenges, but don’t give up! I also really like the ESP32-S3. It’s a module-packaged chip that requires very few additional components, making it super easy to design a simple PCB to get it working. I have another video about that if you’re interested!
Respect for being able to solder a USB-C connector with a plumber's soldering iron!
I’m good at soldering, but I’m just starting to learn PCB design. 😂
thats really cool actually
thanks
Nice
Thanks
As someone who is obsessed with mushrooms… I NEED THIS 🤩
I just download the model from the web😂
So cool!
😏 yeah.
Such beautiful eyes ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks, I also think so.
Chicken curry ? Love it ....hope it's not too spicey !
It's not. It's Stir-fried tomato and scrambled eggs.
