Just a regular guy doing regular guy things. I try to make videos on riding SxS's, camping, tractors, and trucks. We live in Wisconsin, but often travel to ride or camp. Current set-up is a '22 Ford F-450 pulling a '22 XLR Nitro 35DK5 with our '20 RZR Pro XP 4 in the garage. We ride a lot in Wisconsin, West Virginia and South Dakota. Future rides in new places to come!
Here we go again...
Start of the off season maintenance on the RZR Pro XP4. We will go over the Zbroz rear radius arms, Rhino 2.0 axles, S&B Particle Separator, S3 A-Arms, Keller ball joints, Titan bushings, Shock Therapy bump steer elimination kit, X-Bull wireless winch controller and the Viper Machine shift gate that we installed a year ago. How did they hold up?

Regular Trip. Lake Hilbert Campground

Here is a quick little video of a regular camping ride. We took the dogs with us, but I really never thought to record the stars of the show much. I'll do better next time. For those that wonder, we take plenty of water for them, they get snacks and lunch, have a fan to keep them cool and are harnessed in. They absolutely love it and we have to give them a bath back at camp! We love it!
That's it. Really.

I'm saving this video for when someone gets hurt because you showed me how to disable the RIO. It was a pretty redundant video and some contradictory comments.
@@nofascists don't disable your RIO.
Would like some better pictures of your shovel mounts an where you got them, really like that.I also have to shovel at MIL's.
Great content as always, and thank you from Afton, MN. Some of your X758 videos helped me in the decision to go with a new 2024 that was delivered late September (54” HC deck w/hydraulic mulch kit + 54” snowblower + Heavy Hitch 8 Weight Bracket for Click-n-Go + Big Tool Rack YardRack). Beautiful new 2025R system you have - fingers-crossed for us that the weather pattern changes as expected in the next 2 weeks, such that we finally get some snow to try the new rigs. Take care, and thanks again!
Wow! Thanks for the kind words and watching the video. I'm happy that I was able to help in a small way with your decision. Has the x758 met your expectations? I thought it was a great unit. It sounds like you set it up with some really good implements and attachments to make work a little easier. Take care and pray for snow!
@ I’ve been very impressed with it, as well as the implements. It’s a tank, and the Yanmar’s torque along with (basically) hydraulic AWD is fantastic. I was leaning heavily toward the 1025R for property use cases (wide variety of terrain on 5.5 acres), but decided on the X758 for its 54” HC + hydraulic mulch kit on sodded area, and the quality of grass cut. I can’t wait for a proper snowfall to crank the 54” snowblower. Thanks again - looking forward to your 1st serious snowfall video!

Another great vid, Savage! Great idea, snowblowers take power to run them! I don’t think you will regret this!
It really made the engine run smoother. We had a little snow last night and the PTO never slowed down. Just kept blowing the snow with no effort. I'm loving it so far!
Nice install. We'll be interesting to see how you feel the performance is enhanced with adding the turbo. Have you added any gauges for heat etc, for monitoring.
We had our first snowfall last night. It was only 6" of snow and pretty easy blowing, but the performance was really good. Much smoother and better throttle response. I talked to him about adding an EGT and we both feel the temps are never going to get about 1200*F under the harshest of loads. Kevin did have a bung in the riser that was plugged. I might add a an EGT temp gauge in the future. We shall see. I did add some heat wrap to some wiring/radiator hose to the cab behind the exhaust just in case it got too warm. There was no visible discoloration to the heat wrap, so I think the temps are fine.

@@SavageNFS Thanks much!
12 x 16 now did you go with your aggressive ones or the standard ones
Standard spacing is what I bought.
Great video. Just subscribed to your channel. I also have a John Deere 2025R (2022 MY). One thing you should also consider installing/upgrading is a front axle vent. Really saves the front seals from starting to leak from excess pressure. Not sure why Deere didn't put those on. I did my own vent tube, but there are some consumer fixes you can buy. I think Otis makes one. It basically replaces the yellow fill cap with a vented one and has a tube attached so no water/debris can get in. But super easy to make your own homemade fix for pennies on the dollar. Another item you may want to address once you get more familiar with your tractor and front loader is load lifting capacity, to be honest, it's pretty poor. The standard hydraulic pressure is around 2000 to 2100 psi. I bumped mine up to 2800 psi and it is a real game changer. So long as you have the proper rear ballast to go along with the increased lifting capacity. and you can do that yourself at home. Just buy or make a hydraulic pressure tester and you're good to go. I made mine with a pressure gauge and a piece of hydraulic hose and a coupler. Plug into one of your loader ports and read the pressure from there, and make adjustments.
You are not going to believe this, but I did! I forgot to cover it...COMPLETELY. When I changed the front axle oil, I had a really hard time filling the axle without making a mess. I finally got it filled and was looking for the vent to make sure it was clear. No vent! Wut? So I bought a vented front axle cap from rwydro2012 on ebay. It doesn't have a tube, but I'm not too worried about submerging my front axle ever. I'll mention it on a future video. THANK YOU for the comment and the reminder. I appreciate it very much.
Nice snow monster First time seeing JD’s fix. Still looks pot metal or aluminum and they beef it up in areas that weren’t beefed up. Still not squeezed by nut.
Thanks for the comment and the kind words! I just don't understand the part design fully. I don't understand why they were using aluminum from the get go. It doesn't make sense to me. They took a part on a tractor that no one should ever even think about and put it on center stage.
@ yeah my buddy was making them out of steel and I was selling them on eBay. I think I sold about 30 of them. I have a steel one on mine with longer bolts, washers, lock, washers, and nuts and is painted green. JD never got the parts around my way. United Ag & Turf.
@@MJF40 My local dealer allegedly received less than 20 parts for over 300 impacted tractors here locally. They (local JD dealer) are going oldest to newest and only replacing cracked parts initially. Once they get through the cracked ones, they will go oldest to newest as they get more parts. I agree with their strategy and I was lucky. It's obvious John Deere could have handled this issue better. I don't understand how you can sell a tractor for big dollars, have a major failure of your design (responsibility) and then send out a letter telling people to stop using their tractor with no compensation and then take forever and a day to come up with a fix.
Nice setup. Just need some snow. I will give Goodworks Tractor a look.

Thank you for the question! While we have not seen snow yet, it's coming soon. However, do not let that stop you from pulling the trigger. This is my second tractor with soft rubber type chains. My x758 had TerraGrips and this one has the SoftClaw brand. They are very similar in design. I have 6 winters on them so far and absolutely love them. They are the perfect balance between traction and not tearing up the surface below. They also stay in place better than chains and are quieter!

Not sure why anyone would get an x series tractor and not move up to a 1023, 1025 or the 2025.
Size probably they’re a little smaller and nimbler
might not have big enough property to get the 1025 or bigger.
Have a 20 year old X595 and a 9 year old 1025R TLB, both bought new. The X595 is for the 62in convertible deck, the 54in snowblower, and the 45 loader. It has been essentially flawless during those 20 years. The 1025R is for the backhoe, the bucket and the aftermarket forks. IMHO, the 1025R is no where near the build quality or durability of the X595. Little issues like transmission leaks, electrical issues, etc. Maybe the X7?? series is the same level of quality as the 1025R, so your “Don’t get an X series” may be valid for new models.
