Music composed by Bill Ryan Notes from the composer - "In 2000, when I was 32 years old, my mom was killed in a car accident. She was an artist and a huge supporter of everything I did, and so I was knocked off my feet for a very long time. It was a challenge to just get through the days and be a good husband and dad and teacher. Three years later I finally sat down to compose again, and this p...

Beautiful! Keep going guys!
Thank you!
Watch this at June 2024
Remarkable restraint throughout
Preparing to use this as the background music to the photo slideshow video for my dad's funeral
Thank you for sharing, and I hope it's a beautiful service.
@@lakeshorerush6112 The funeral director wants formal permission for copyrighted media to be included at the event. Can I get a Yes/No please?
@@liveshotsvideoproductions Yes you have our blessing!
@@lakeshorerush6112 Thanks for your co-operation. I was just a bit gutted when I got their display screen spec. 2x 43in monitors, but they're only 720HD!! I've been composing a 4K videotape of my dad's life :(
“Genius is Pain”
Do u watch this Thom
Sounds great! I still struggle to find the beat after all these years of listening to it :)
No matter what happens now, i shouldnt be afraid. Because i know: today has been the most perfect day i've ever seen.
just... wow
I loved the arrangement and the instrumentation except for the clarinet, but many people think exactly the opposite when I read the comments, so what do I know. Not due to the performer, she was great, I just thought it didn't mesh well, maybe a hobo would have been better, but great performance, really cool arrangement certainly in keeping with the tone and character of the original which I like. Remember I saw like a jazz arangement of Weird Fishes, sung by a woman who clearly didn't have a clue what the lyrics are about and that's a shame, but this was great, thx guys.
It’s the octave
Listening to this I've gone all googly-kneed. It's the yummiest ear candy.
It'a all about the syncopation here. Spot on! Great job! ❤👏

Minimalism at its best Haunting music
Thank you!
That piano sounds exactly like it does in the original song
I love this beautiful sad song. It’s my favorite song.
Glad you enjoyed it. We love this song too!!
Absolutely stunning rendition of an already beautiful song!
Thank you, Allen!

So glad you connected with it!

That’s something else …
A record should be made of all classical/jazz covers of RH sounds and even tour with it.
Is this really what you spent years in music school for, struggling with phrasing, expression, dynamics, rhythm, expressivity..?
Integrates the music and video with shadows and light of city very well, love the video effects added to train and water segments ! A creative gem !!! Leaves me with a feeling of "expectation" or existential angst.
Thank you, Frank!
esto es otro nivel!!!
Bravissimo
What a beautiful music and such a wonderful execution. Some moments give me goosebumps.
This is quite lovely
Woah, that intro is fantastic!

Wonderful. The timing is more intricate that we (could) hear. Very subtle and emotional. Congratulations.
Not me tearing up right now. Oof that was beautiful.
Thank you!
Magnificent ... tears in my eyes ...
Thank you <3

Superb!
Thanks!
lost for words, this is sad and beautiful at the same time. I love it, great job!!!
Thank you, Stefan!
What a beautiful melody. Radiohead have always been one of those bands that blow others out of the water.
Beautiful rendition.
Thank you!
That clarinet player is amazing
Thank you!!
How can we live without music? I truly hope in heaven (if there is such thing) I can listen to radiohead
I believe there is indeed Heaven and believe Jesus is the Messiah, I’m also a Radiohead fan hence why I am here. And my answer to would be that God gives an infinity amount of joy for those who truly seek Him. So if you enjoy Radiohead, you will at least get the same plentiful and splendid feelings in Heaven, that you would normally derive from listening from listening to them. Now as if Radiohead’s music will be there, I honestly cannot say. Jesus does say whatever you proclaim to be in Heaven shall be there. But lastly, dopamine rush you and I feel from music like this, will instead of being momentarily, will be everlasting. The human brain only has enough dopamine support/supply to maintain a few hours a day, for some people more for some way less. The point is, In Heaven (In Rainbows) none will need it objects we clung onto as humans. That all being said, (I know, on a long winded message here) this song and especially this album - In Rainbows - could be listened to forever. God bless you and hope to see ya in Heaven.
The xylophone really draws out the syncopation. What a beautiful piece and tribute to the originator.
He's playing a drumpad that's next to a xylophone
Whichever form this song adopts, it´s always beautifully haunting
It's a beautiful arrangement!
tearing up rolling on my chair
Amazing cover
Lovely. I much prefer this slower interpretation - the version by Bang On A Can All-Stars (PCF 2017) has me tears... as does this. Morbid to say so, perhaps, but I want this as part of my funeral music, as and when that time comes.
This is an absolutely beautiful arrangement. Thank you.
Oh my . . .
