Lol I have in the past, he just faces people up with obvious counters to Quan and I don't feel like the mental stress of having a chat full of toxicity roasting me if I lose. Matched me up with Marsman a year ago I lost 10 to 2 Mars talked shit and the chat talked shit then Destroyer was like MAN I THOUGHT OTAKU WAS BETTER THAN THAT, then I faced someone and had a very good match like 10 to 9 and he didn't upload it on his channel. I'll pass, mfs give me a heart attack

Definitely not Ketchup because he doesn’t even play Mkx like that anymore Lol, haven’t seen Michaelangleo play in years either but the best of all time would probably be Shujinkydink just because he’s made it to top 10 or top 8 numerous times with Quan. I’d say I was the number one Quan for many years after Mk11 came out and Dink devoted his time to it, recently Sacky has come back and I’d say he’s better than me, Pullutions also is an amazing Quan player and recently I’d put him above me because I don’t play as much as I used to so my skills have deteriorated But to answer you I’d say Dink, he’s my mentor and he’s the Quanfather Lol

Yeah I never liked mk11 since it first came out Lol, felt the exact same as an injustice game and the story was garbage+the character roster was boring

​@@2jojojojojojo totally agree with every paragraph. The last MK looks like anything, but not like Mortal Kombat game. The spirit of the MK is lost. And particular annoying thing is the guest characters. There are too many of them! The MK lore has so much interesting characters, but nah, they (NRS, WB) need to attract the new buyers. All we have is hope, that next MK will be better (and wi'll see Quan Chi's returning), but I've already lost this hope.

Quan’s a C tier character unless he’s in the hands of someone who knows him in and out, the dude just has no wake-ups so if you get him in the corner with a character like Trem Liu Scorp or Grandmaster Sub it’s ggs. If he’s in the hands of someone like me Pullutions Dink Sacky etc he goes up to B tier, Sorc is the strongest Quan variation once he gets you in the corner it’s mix city and there’s basically nothing you can do unless you’re a multiple hitting character to break the armor and go right through it. That’s my tournament variation when I go tryhard Lol plus it has meter drain and that’s v important

I'm not the best Quan, Mandrilmexican is probably the best sorcerer player rn because he never chooses summoner. I've never played Sack and don't know if he still plays so I can't say I'm better than him but as of rn it's probably Mandril, me, Dink then Pullutions because idk if the old Quan players like Michelangelo, Illusions and Sack still play

I can play summoner and sorcerer so maybe I am better than Mandril since he only plays sorc

Tell me about it, and then people want to call him broke because they don't know the matchup Lol The man literally has no armor and the armor he does have can be easily broken or literally grabbed out of, don't know why NRS decided to take away his sword overhead and nerf him into the dist but keep cryst tremor and firefist Liu the same

@@2jojojojojojo I agree.beside the overhead.they nerfed alot of things.u could get a free bat or spell with the ordinary trance.ex ground burst and ex skull had so much block adv.the armor spell gave armor every time u re enter the circle or wake up in it and ofcourse every thing in the summoner was way better.they buffed some things that are not still good.like they made the skydrop faster but that shit is still terrible.they must have added more armor or sth else.some people say the armor move and bat zonning is broken but without them quan litterly has nothing.i think he is good against 95 percent of players but in pro level he is very bad.he can't even move against a pro liukang player

My advice would be to watch a lot of Shujinkydinks old Quan videos observe how he plays and copy his combos/learn zoning patterns Also take Quan in practice and get his anti airs down, learn to position yourself so that the enemy will jump at you Also also learn his punishes and staggers
