That's exactly why I don't play iRacing anymore. 15 min racing followed by 20 min of collecting footage and filing protests. They should rebrand it to iProtest.

Definitely his fault as you committed to your line and he should’ve predicted that the space he was aiming for is closed by the time he gets there. It’s a racing incident but if you want to blame someone, it’s him.

What happens when you get banned from iracing?
Depends on what you have done to get banned. They usually just suspend the account until the ban is finished.
You did turn in further when you saw him climbing up on you, he wasn't next to you though so very technically not your fault

Not really speaking specifically to this clip but just in general. I get it, it sucks to lose time from things that are out of your control but it isn't the GT3 drivers fault fault. They have the same right to drive their race that you do. In multiclass the faster cars are always catching traffic everyone gets held up equally over a long enough stint. It's insane how many drivers chuck it down the inside every lap like its the last lap for position. Just wait for the safe opportunity, preserves everybodies race.
I know that feeling, sometimes I have race where I overtake only in corners, I never catch a car on straight. Meanwhile, guy who is chasing me always gets them on straight. Sometimes it's other way around.😅
Slower car should be predictable and stick to the racing line it's your duty to pass them safely.

I can’t remember the name of that part of the track but I know that it is not a safe passing area for most drivers. We can’t all be Kevin estre.
This track is full of bumbs and elevation especially in this section of the track i have over a hundred couple of laps and i still get tricked there

it was not 'weird', happens to me all the time...
on my line the exit out of pflanzgarten 2 is wider. Its easier to hit the bellof s top speed when u adjust the car a little bit more to the left so that u almost hit the curb when u come out of pflanzgarten 2.
